Quick Takes from the AFC North: He Shall Be Le’Veon

Another week without Le’Veon Bell. James Conner once again proved that he is capable of being a star in Fantasy Football on Thursday night. He will have to continue this output for the rest of the season as Adam Schefter reported that Bell will not report to the Steelers on Tuesday, making him ineligible for 2018.  The show must go on and Conner is a locked and loaded RB1 for the rest of the season. Read on for more last minute takes from the AFC North.

More Last Minute Takes from the AFC North

Cleveland Rocks

Fantrax Football CommissionerAnother RB1-for this week at least- is another AFC North running back, Nick Chubb. In the three games since Carlos Hyde has been traded, Chubb has had at least 18 carries. In two of those games, he has achieved at least 80 yards and one touchdown.

The Falcons are 29th in the NFL in rushing touchdowns (10) and yards per carry (4.8) which makes Chubb a great option. The Falcons are generous to pass-catching running backs as well, allowing over 60 receiving yards a game this season which makes Duke Johnson a strong flex play as well.

Tiger’s Boyd

The Bengals are six-point home underdogs against the red-hot Saints. A big part of that spread has to do with A.J. Green missing action with a foot injury. Tyler Boyd is the obvious beneficiary to the injury as he has produced at least 100 yards in three games this season and has scored five touchdowns.

It is remained to be determined if Boyd can handle the No.1 receiver option, but he has hinted that if he scores a touchdown he has something in mind…

The Saints are dead last in the NFL in passing yards allowed and deep-threat John Ross will get a lot of opportunity in Week 10. The speedy Ross was a Top-10 draft pick in 2017 and is likely to be on the majority of offensive snaps on Sunday. He is only $3,900 on DraftKings and can be used as a flex in 12-team leagues for a “boom” play.
