Fantasy Football: Week 12 Quarterback Rankings

Week 12 is upon us and now is the time to make a late playoff push. It’s almost as if the NFL schedule makers knew how important week 12 was for our playoffs hopes, as there are zero teams on bye in Week 12. No one on bye does mean tougher Start/Sit decisions but if there is one position you should feel confident in, it is Quarterback. We are seeing more backup QBs right now than any other week. Many teams have lost a starter recently and will need to replace them in the last couple of weeks. Remember to follow the recipe for success; volume and matchup, in the Week 12 Quarterback Rankings.

Week 12 Quarterback Rankings

This week more than ever we have a full tier of streaming options. Tier 2 of these rankings will be large this week, but don’t be too scared to start any of them as good matchups are easy to find here in Week 12. Hopefully, you have one of the top 10 guys but with the recent injuries as mentioned previously, don’t hesitate to locate your favorite streamer and play him with confidence.

Weather has been a factor across the league these last couple of weeks, and I do expect it to rear its ugly head in some this week. This is your weekly reminder to check those reports throughout the week, and plan accordingly. We can use that excuse and all the others for Carson Wentz but you will see him continue to fall in these rankings week in and week out regardless of game weather just due to his recent play. While we have been picking on the Seahawks defense all season long, this is a riskier start than almost anyone as no quarterback has shown the ability to implode more than Carson Wentz. Leave him on the pine in a 1QB league.

This is also a week you can pretty easily bench Lamar Jackson, as we can clearly see he does not meet the criteria for success with a terrible matchup and low volume. Keep an eye on the status of this game due to COVID concerns, but either way, I would say you can get away from that name value this week for sure with the options that should be available. Lamar comes in as my QB15 in my Week 12 Quarterback Rankings.
