You’re here because you’re participating in an auction draft this fantasy football season. That’s great! It’s the most interactive way to draft and fun for your whole league. There is, however, a greater common goal among you and your league and that’s to win. To do so, you need to know how to construct the best roster possible with the salary cap budget allotted. More importantly, you need to know which players are worth adding at their price point to maximize value and win your weekly matchups!

At a bare minimum, the below values for each player at each position will guide you toward who to focus on the most when the bidding gets going. More importantly, they will give you an idea of how much or how little it should cost to roster a certain player. Again, the auction draft strategy article explains how this is all easier said than done.
The following rankings of players by position are my own. Each listed value is generally how much I believe a manager should be spending to acquire a player’s talents in a 10-team, Points Per Reception League, with a $200 salary cap budget. Adjust accordingly with your own rankings, or league settings, to the corresponding values, and good luck!
