Week 14 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire

Week 13 had a little bit of everything, and so the Week 14 fantasy EPL Waiver Wire (under 50% rostered) will have a bit of the same. A little from here. A little from there.

The January waiver wire is quickly approaching, so it’s all about deciding where you want to be on the wire list as premier players may be popping up. But it’s also a win-now league. With injuries always a factor, plus Champions League games this week, there may be additional rotation for top players. Both of those mean there are opportunities for your team.

Below is a list of promising EPL Waiver Wire picks for week 14 for your fantasy team, from the most rostered to the least rostered players.

Week 14 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire

Anthony Elanga – Forward – 43% Rostered. Nottingham Forest vs Everton

He’s got two straight games with goals, which were his first since the opening game. Strikers feed on confidence, and his should be high. Forest did lose at home for the first time last game, but Everton are also not Brighton. Everton gave up three to Manchester United at home, so on the road, Elanga should have chances.

Ezri Konsa – Defender – 34% Rostered. Bournemouth vs Aston Villa

Konsa is a mainstay in the Villa lineup. Aston Villa is currently in fourth place in the league, and deservedly so. Their defense has allowed under 20 goals, and they play a Bournemouth team who’ve only scored 14 times on the season. In Konsa, you get a consistent player on a solid team with a good matchup.

Joel Matip – Defender – 22% Rostered. Liverpool vs Fulham

Matip has seemed to find his place back in the starting 11 for Liverpool. Liverpool love playing at home, and they haven’t given up a goal at home in three games. Fulham have scored just six goals on the road and only 15 total on the season. He’s a quality EPL waiver wire choice this week.

Oliver McBurnie – Forward – 19% Rostered. Burnley vs Sheffield United

It’s hard picking any SHU players are this point. I’d recommend them only against a worse team, which currently is Burnley, who have now lost six in a row while giving up 16 goals over that stretch.  McBurnie is big, experienced, and not afraid to get in front of goal.

Callum Hudson-Odoi – Midfielder – 10% Rostered. Nottingham Forest vs Everton

This is one of those “keep him on your roster for weeks to come, even if he’s not quite ready for this week.” He’s coming back off of the injury list, and when he’s playing he’s capable of strong offensive outputs. He’s worth a watch. If he starts, I’m considering putting him into my starting 11.

Jay Rodriguez – Forward –  8% rostered – Burnley vs Sheffield United

He’s now started three straight, and he scored last game. Only against Sheffield is he worth even thinking about since SHU leads the league in goals conceded. The Burnley forward is on PKS, which is a nice bonus. He has six shots over these last three starts, so the veteran is getting sights on goal at least. This is a gamble for sure.

For week 14 of the EPL Waiver Wire, you can nab a player to fill the gaps in your teams. Go with the matchups. Good luck!
