Week 34 EPL Waiver Wire

The Week 34 EPL Waiver Wire gives managers a chance pick up players with two games, as well as filling in for Spurs players who have the week off.

It’s an interesting week for sure as we have multiple teams playing twice: Everton, Wolves, Arsenal, Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, and Sheffield United. Tottenham have a bye, so you’ll have to find players to fill in. Everyone else just plays once.

Manchester City gained points on both Liverpool and Arsenal, putting the pressure on them. Things are still tight at the bottom of the table too. With just five games left for EPL and Fantrax managers, each point matters.

The top EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 34 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.

Week 34 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire

Oliver McBurnie – Defender – 37% Rostered – Sheffield United vs Burnley, Manchester United vs Sheffield United

With just six games left, SHU is quickly running out of time to make a push to stay in the EPL. They host Burnley who sit just above them in the table. This is a must win for both teams. McBurnie has scored in two of his last three starts, so with two matches, including the one against Burnley, McBurnie is an option this week.

Justin Kluivert – Midfielder – 44% Rostered – Aston Villa vs Bournemouth , Wolves vs Bournemouth

Kluivert scored two goals and an assist over this last three games. He took 10 shots over those games, meaning he’s brimming with confidence and has the green light to shoot. He’s got two chances during this game week to add to his six goal total. If you’re looking for an attacking midfielder on the EPL Waiver Wire, he should be high on your list.

Gio Reyna – Midfielder – 14% Rostered – Everton vs Nottingham Forrest

I recommended him when he first transferred to Forrest, but up until last week he had yet to start. He made the most of his chance, notching an assist in the 2-2 draw. He really should have scored too, but was just wide. He was on corners, aggressive, and on the ball. I’m not sure what took Forrest so long to get him into the starting XI, but he may be there to stay. This could be a quality pickup on the EPL Waiver Wire as they still play Everton, Burnley, and SHU before the season ends.

Dean Henderson – Goalie – 10% Rostered – Crystal Palace vs West Ham, Crystal Palace vs Newcastle

Henderson was spectacular against Liverpool. He made five saves in the upset win. He now has two straight home games, against top half table competition. Both opponents will test him, so Henderson should have a chance for saves, even if you’re not counting on clean sheets. Those saves add up, especially over two games.

I’m a believer in grabbing players double weeks, so I’m grabbing as many viable double game options as I can for week 34.

Good luck!
