Deep League Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds for Week 19

Miles McBride, PG – New York Knicks (23% rostered)

McBride was a late addition to this list. As soon as Jalen Brunson left Sunday’s game with a non-contact knee injury, the 23-year-old became a MUST-ADD. While we don’t know the extent of Brunson’s knee injury yet, McBride is the player you NEED to add. The West Virginia product has performed admirably in the four games Brunson’s been out this season, averaging 17.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 3.0 three-pointers, 1.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks. The third-year pro could log 35-plus minutes a night for however long Brunson is sidelined. “Deuce” is a potential league-winner who warrants addition in ALL leagues.

Jordan Goodwin, PG – Memphis Grizzlies (27% rostered)

Goodwin went from a speculative add to a must-add player faster than Xavier Worthy’s 40-yard dash time. Goodwin has started the last three games for Memphis, averaging 6.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.7 blocks (31.1 fantasy points). The 25-year-old could average 30-plus minutes the rest of the way if he sticks in the starting lineup. The Saint Louis product is a no-brainer add for anyone needing stocks, boards, and dimes.

Ochai Agbaji, SG – Toronto Raptors (25% rostered)

Agbaji and Kelly Olynyk joined the Raptors in a trade on Feb. 8, essentially in exchange for a 2024 first-round pick. Despite averaging just 13.9 minutes since joining Toronto, the 23-year-old replaced Scottie Barnes (hand) in the starting lineup on Sunday, delivering 13 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks in 32 minutes. With Barnes out indefinitely with a fractured hand, the second-year pro should see plenty of minutes the rest of the way. He should produce consistently decent ‘3-and-D’ stats along with points, boards, and dimes.

Moses Moody, SG/SF – Golden State Warriors (31% rostered)

Before the Celtics trounced Golden State on Sunday, Moody was ON A ROLL over his previous three games. He was averaging 12.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks during that span. The 21-year-old has been starting in place of Andrew Wiggins (personal), which is a trend that should continue. Fantasy managers should stream the Arkansas product until Wiggins returns.

Taylor Hendricks, PF – Utah Jazz (48% rostered)

Last call on Hendricks! The 20-year-old has thrived since entering the starting lineup, averaging 9.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers, and 1.3 stocks over the past four games. Utah has every incentive to play their 2023 lottery pick heavy minutes the rest of the season.

Caleb Martin, SG/SF – Miami Heat (46% rostered)

Usually, players who lose their starting spot become waiver-wire fodder. That’s not the case with Martin. The 28-year-old has delivered phenomenal performances since his demotion, averaging 13.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 three-pointers, and 1.7 blocks. The Nevada product, comfortable off the bench, deserves consideration for points, rebounds, triples, and stocks for your team.”
