Fantasy Football 2023: Week 4 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

My wide receiver sleepers and streamers in Week 3 were disappointing, but this is where improvement is made… Nico Collins, Jordan Addison, and Jayden Reed combined for 25 fantasy points in Week 3. Collins had less than 60 yards after having over 80 in each Week 1 and Week 2. Addison had over 50 yards again but did not have that touchdown like the previous weeks.

In Week 4, we have someone who took it back to 2018 with his Week 3 performance and a top-three finish with 31.5 points. There is also a receiver who has gone off in consecutive weeks and had a WR5 finish in Week 3. Here are Week’s 4 sleepers and streamers.

Week 4 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

Wide Receiver sleepers

Tutu Atwell @ Indianapolis Colts

Tutu Atwell has averaged an 18.4 ADOT (average depth of target) through two weeks. He has also seen 119 and 77 receiving yards through those two weeks as well. Atwell has thrived as the second receiver for Matthew Stafford establishing himself as a flex play thus far.

In two weeks things might change with the pending return of Cooper Kupp, but for now, TUTU! Atwell still has to play his Week 3 match-up, but he has already made it to Week 4. The Colts are a team that has allowed close to 200 yards per game to receivers with their Week 3 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Before Week 3, the Colts were giving up 85 fantasy ppg to the position. The Ravens did not take advantage of that, but Mr. Atwell will. Atwell is a tremendous plug-and-play in Week against a vulnerable Colts defense.

Tank Dell vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Tank Dell has proven to be an amazing player three weeks into his rookie season. Dell, who had an ADP of WR73 in the off-season and has had back-to-back weeks inside the top 20 including a top-five finish in Week 3.

He is currently the WR9 through three games and went undrafted. He gets a Steelers defense who just got torched by the Raiders, and more importantly, Davante Adams. CJ Stroud is on pace to break every single rookie record set by a Quarterback and got the Texans their first win Sunday.

Tank Dell is my favorite receiver in sleepers and streamers for Week 4 and start him if you need the upside.

Wide Receiver streamers

Adam Thielen vs. Minnesota Vikings

Can you smell it? An Adam Thielen masterclass game against his former team? His performance from Week 3 lands him on sleepers and streamers for Week 4. Thielen finished with a WR3 finish and 31.5 fantasy points. He has emerged as the WR1 on this Carolina Panthers offense and thrived with Andy Dalton as the Quarterback.

Dalton threw it over 55 times and targeted Thielen 14 times and connected on 11 of them. Now, Thielen gets a match-up against the team he spent his first nine seasons with. The Vikings just allowed Justin Herbert to throw for over 400 yards and both Mike Williams and Keenan Allen exceeded 100 receiving yards.

Adam Thielen is rostered in just 54% of ESPN leagues and will be one of the hottest ads in the waiver wire for Week 4. With another masterclass performance in Week 4, Adam Thielen will never be on sleepers and streamers again and become a weekly start.

DJ Moore vs. Denver Broncos

Look, you drafted DJ Moore as a top 20 receiver and he has not lived up to it. The Bears got dismantled by the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3, but Moore was able to still have 13.10 fantasy points. It gets better in Week 4 as the Denver Broncos and the Chicago Bears will look to try and string up something from their disastrous starts to the season.

The Broncos just gave up 70 points and over 700 total yards to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. The Bears are not the Dolphins, but the Broncos are still the Broncos. Not including Week 3, the Broncos are giving up 39 fantasy ppg and 138 ypg (yards per game) to the position.

Look for Justin Fields to try and continue to make something of nothing and look for even if the Bears are losing, for DJ Moore to accumulate targets and translate it to fantasy points in Week 4. Moore is my bounce-back candidate for sleepers and streamers in Week 4.
