Gameweek 19 Waiver Wire Targets

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 19 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.  These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period!

The Dropped players

Position: Any

Team: All

Rostered: too high to be on FA%

Next Fixture: Home & Away

Prospects: The last 2 gameweeks have been very difficult for roster construction. Most teams were struggling to field a starting XI of viable players and it led to players like Cody Drameh starting in all active leagues… That’s bad. It also resulted in some big-name players being dropped. Do not sleep on these guys, long term value is available on Waivers this week.

Verdict: Pay attention to FAB remaining in the league and construct your strategy accordingly

Armando Broja

Position: Forward

Team: Southampton

Ownership: 29%

Next Fixture: West Ham (Away)

Prospects: Broja has been banging in the goals for Southampton and West Ham are severely depleted this time around and they have lost form going into the winter, so Southampton could get goals. Broja is decent for ghost points even if he doesn’t score.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 2-5% of my remaining FAB on Broja.

Pedro Neto

Position: Forward

Team: Wolves

Ownership: 40%

Next Fixture: irrelevant

Prospects: This may be the waiver period to pick up Neto with a view to a possible shutdown of play in the Premier League. If you hear from a reliable source that the shutdown is happening, last season’s talisman might be the steal of the WW if you can get him. Unfortunately, I still do not see him starting until early February, so if there is no shutdown, I do not see how one could hold him through the festive fixtures.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0-2% of my remaining FAB on Neto.
