2021 Fantasy Football: Week 15 RB Rankings

Week 15 is here and if you want to win your first week of playoffs, you better take a look at these RB rankings I set up for you. It is crazy to see Christian McCaffrey or Derrick Henry for the first week of playoffs. But, I have your back with this list.

The running back position has been a tough one this year with injuries. But, other low-end running backs have stepped up. Now let’s get you into the second round.

Just as a reminder if you haven’t seen my other rankings, this list is based on half PPR scoring.

Week 15 Running Back Notes:

James Conner has 100% been the biggest surprise this season. Since Week 7 he has finished inside the top 20 of running backs. Week 9 he finished first and last week finished second. Since Week 10 he has been in on at least 80% of the snap counts. In his last two weeks, he played 90% or more of the snaps. Going into the playoffs Conner will be a number one running back. This week he has the Lions who are giving up the third-most fantasy points to running backs. This is why I have Conner as my RB5 this week.

Next, I have Saquon Barkley ranked as my RB13 this week. Congratulations if you made it into the playoffs with Barkley. He has the 19th easiest playoffs schedule starting with the Cowboys this week then the Eagles and Bears next. In the last three weeks, Barkley has had double-digit rushing attempts which is a great sign of him getting back into his groove. Last week he dropped 17 fantasy points and looked great in the passing game. The Cowboys defense has come alive this last few weeks, but Barkley looks to be the only shining star in this Giants offense now.

Lastly, I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire this week against the Chargers. Even though Edwards-Helaire has played under 50% of the snap counts in his last three games he is still putting up numbers. In his last three games, he has 14.6, 9.7, and 17.7 fantasy points. They aren’t flashy numbers but only being on the field 50% of the time is still productive. This week he has the Chargers who are giving up the second-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Edwards-Helaire is a high-end RB2 this week.
