2021 Fantasy Football: Week 15 Wide Receiver Rankings

Week 15 aka the first week of playoffs is here and you’re going to need this wide receiver rankings list to make it to the second round. If you aren’t in the playoffs this week, you can still use the waiver wire to your advantage.

As for the playoffs literally, every game counts. So, I did not miss on this rankings list. Wide receivers have been inconsistent this year, but this list will help when it comes to who to start.

Just as a reminder if you haven’t seen the last few weeks of rankings, this list is based on half PPR scoring.

Week 15 Wide Receiver Notes:

Yes, I know I have Tyreek Hill ranked at seven this week. But, over the last two weeks, he has only had five and four targets. The Chargers are the fourth-best defense against wide receivers this season only giving up 18.8 fantasy points. Hill has been one of the most inconsistent wide receivers this season. It is tough to think of sitting him this week, but he could flop this week. In Week 3 Hill had five receptions for 56 yards against the Chargers. There is a chance this is his revenge game, but even with the Chiefs on a hot streak, Hill hasn’t been.

Hunter Renfrow jumps up to my WR14 this week. Darren Waller is still day-to-day but can return this week. But, even if Waller returns, Renfrow is the number one target this season. Renfrow is averaging 8.2 targets this season and over the last two games, he had 10 and 14 targets. This week the Raiders have the Browns who are decent against wide receivers allowing 20.8 fantasy points a game. Renfrow isn’t the flashy wide receiver like most but in the last three weeks, he has finished in the top 20 wide receivers each week. Including a WR7 finish in Week 12 and WR5 last week.

Lastly, I have Tee Higgins ranked at 16 this week. Ja’Marr Chase has been the shining star in the offense, but Higgins is right there too. Higgins has been hot the last three weeks scoring 20.4, 24.3, and 13.9 fantasy points. Over that three-game stretch, he averaged 9.6 targets. This week the Bengals have the Broncos who are giving up 22.1 fantasy points to wide receivers this year. Higgins is hot right now. Don’t overthink starting him.
