NHL Draft Rankings

  1. Cade Webber, D, Rivers School (NH. HS)
GPGAPPIM
2912142620

Webber has a big frame standing at 6’6″, but that doesn’t hold back his skating ability. He’s a good puck carrier with offensive instincts.

99. Reece Newkirk, C, Portland (WHL)

GPGAPPIM
6823365988

Newkirk’s point total jumped from 11 to 59 points in his second season in Portland. A competitive player relied upon in all situations.

98. Max Crozier, D, Sioux Falls (USHL)

GPGAPPIM
60103343132

Crozier was named best defenseman and MVP for his team. He’s an overager, but boasts some size and racks up the penalties.

97. Josh Williams, RW, Medicine Hat/Edmonton (WHL)

GPGAPPIM
661419338

Williams has shown flashes of being a gifted sniper but has mostly underwhelmed this past season. The tools are there, and can make him an impact player one day should he get it all together.

96. Adam Beckman, LW, Spokane (WHL)

GPGAPPIM
6832306216

Beckman has taken great strides over the past few seasons, resulting in him being seventh in WHL scoring among players in his draft class.

95. Semyon Chistyakov, D, Tolpar (MHL)

GPGAPPIM
321101120

Chistyakov brings both offense and physicality to the blue line. He has a dangerous shot, despite his low goal total.

94. Layton Ahac, D, Prince George (BCHL)

GPGAPPIM
534283330

Ahac is a smooth skating reliable defenseman, who could rise if he develops his shot further and plays more physical.

93. Simon Lundmark, D, Linkoping (SWE)

GPGAPPIM
252151710

Lundmark is a good puck moving defender that led his team in points by a defenseman.

92. Quinn Olson, LW, Okotoks (AJHL)

91. Michael Gildon, LW, U.S. NTDP (USHL)

GPGAPPIM
6118274546

Gildon has quick hands, allowing him to generate scoring chances in the tighter areas on the ice.

90. Patrick Moynihan, C, U.S. NTDP (USHL)

GPGAPPIM
6419274653

Moynihan doesn’t bring elite level offense but plays a solid all-around game. He likes to play physical and isn’t afraid to block a shot.

89. Alexei Protas, C, Prince Albert (WHL)

GPGAPPIM
611129404

Protas is the first player since 1996 to score a hat trick in back-to-back WHL playoff games. He’s a big body (6’5″) that can skate well.

88. Valentin Nussbaumer, C, Shawinigan (QMJHL)

GPGAPPIM
5817213816

Nussbaumer has good stick handling abilities and plays a sound 200-foot game.

87. Graeme Clarke, RW, Ottawa (OHL)

GPGAPPIM
5523113434

Clarke was forced into a secondary role due to playing on a stacked 67’s team. High offensive upside and would put up more notable numbers if given the ice time.

86. Domenick Fensore, D, U.S. NTDP (USHL)

GPGAPPIM
556364226

Fensore is an offensively talented blueliner. It’s becoming the norm for smaller players to find success, but at 5’7″ he’s a boom or bust pick.

85. Daniil Gutik, LW, Loko (MHL)

GPGAPPIM
36581312

Gutik is a sizeable winger at 6’3″ and has soft hands to boot. He could use some work on his skating though.

84. Albert Johansson, D, Farjestad (SWE)

GPGAPPIM
405242963

Johansson is a slick skating defenseman with good vision on the ice. He has some trouble winning puck battles but makes up for it with his puck moving skills.

83. Mattias Maccelli, LW, Dubuque (USHL)

GPGAPPIM
6231417242

Maccelli was third in USHL scoring, and first among 18-year-olds. He’s undersized and not the fastest skater, but has good hands and hockey sense.

82. Justin Bergeron, D, Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL)

GPGAPPIM
6516415743

Bergeron is an overager by a matter of hours, but his performance during his team’s Memorial Cup run will prevent him being overlooked again. He’s a good skater and puck handler but lacks physicality.

81. Ronnie Attard, D, Tri-City (USHL)

GPGAPPIM
4830346466

Attard was named both USHL player of the year and defenseman of the year. His 30 goals set the USHL record of most goals by a defenseman.
