Week 3 Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview: November 6-12

Welcome to week three of the fantasy basketball season with our schedule preview. Week two showcased the first games of the “NBA Cup,” which could provide a jolt of fantasy consistency by encouraging star player attendance. The next tournament games will be on Friday, November 10th. Week two also included a James Harden trade to the Clippers and marked the last week of Miles Bridges’ suspension. Week three should give us an idea of how their roles will shake out for this year.

Moving into week three, we once again have an awkward schedule. The schedule is concentrated on Monday and Wednesday, with no games on Tuesday and low nights on Thursday and Saturday. The schedule is top-heavy this week, meaning your lineups will need star players. For the low game nights, augment your production by adding a few games. Let’s check out the best options for the week.

Waiver-wire Targets

There are no games on Tuesday, which makes for an awkward schedule. The low nights are Thursday and Saturday. The teams below play both nights making them a valuable stream if necessary.

MILWAUKEE BUCKS (MON/WED/THURS/SAT)

  • Malik Beasley -SG: Beasley has been a three and steals specialist until his previous game. He is inconsistent but can get hot on any given night.
  • Jae Crowder – SF/PF: Crowder is a helpful contributor across the board and makes for a good streamer this week, especially if Middleton continues to miss time.
  • Pat Connaughton – SF/PF: Connaughton has yet to impress in a low 20-minute per game role but can be helpful in a pinch, sprinkling in production across the main categories, if necessary.

ORLANDO MAGIC (MON/THURS/SAT)

  • Goga Bitadze – C: Goga surprised folks when he played 26 minutes after Wendall Carter Jr. went down. WCJ is out for multiple weeks, and Goga will be a great paint protector in a timeshare with Moritz Wagner. Expect high FG%, rebounds, and blocks for Goga until WCJ returns.
  • Moritz Wagner – C: The principal benefactor from WCJ missing time, Wagner is the defacto starter and will produce in points and rebounds, along with a few threes, assists, and blocks until he returns.

ATLANTA HAWKS (MON/THURS/SAT)

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic – SG/SF: Bogdan has found an excellent role in the second unit with Atlanta and has produced naturally in points and threes. However, Bogdanovic is rounding out his production with rebounds, assists, and a steal or more each game. If he is on your waiver wire, prioritize him, given his great schedule.
  • Saddiq Bey – SF/PF: Bey is a reliable double-digit scorer with upside in threes. He is rounding out his production with great rebounding numbers from the guard position. He makes a great streamer this week, given Atlanta’s schedule.
