Week 17 DST Streamers

For many of you, this is it. Your season is on the line. You’re likely playing for money or a title or to avoid punishment in some capacity. Don’t let your season build all the way up to this just to see it slip away because of a poor DST output. Make sure you’ve got one in there that gives you your best chance at getting the win.

The DSTs listed here will be available in 50% or more Fantrax Leagues.

Week 17 DST Streamers

Los Angeles Rams

Don’t look now but Los Angeles is looking like the kind of team nobody wants to meet in the playoffs. They are winning people over with their offense, powered by young stars like Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams. However, we shouldn’t overlook their defense. The scoring outputs haven’t wowed anyone but they have been putting up solid performances consistently. They have scored five or more points in only one week since October 29th. The Giants with whoever at QB is an appealing upside that can raise an otherwise low ceiling for the Rams DST. I like them as my top streaming option.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders DST has been hot and cold of late. They posted a -1 against the Chiefs a month ago. Since then in three games they have scored 58 points. Almost 20 a game. Granted one of those games was against Easton Stick and the Chargers but the Raiders just locked down on reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes. While Jonathan Taylor is back, I still think more highly of the Chiefs offense than the Colts. The Raiders can be trusted with the Championship on the line.

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle’s DST has had some rough games in recent weeks but has settled down nicely in the last two. When you consider the three previous opponents were the Cowboys and 49ers twice it puts into perspective how rough of a stretch this has been. I’m not that wowed by the Eagles game because I think we are all starting to realize that outside of the tush push the Eagles are overrated. Now the Steelers come to town and while Mason Rudolph operated the offense better for Pittsburgh I still don’t look too highly on their passing attack. I think this is a favorable matchup for Seattle in Week 17.

Chicago Bears

The Bears DST came back down to earth last week against a Cardinals offense that has looked better of late. Now they face the Falcons led by Arthur Smith who seems to think he’s the smartest man in every room he’s walked into. Smith brings a bad X factor to the Falcons where you never know when they’ll decide to force-feed the ball to their backups instead of designing concepts like this to get the ball to their top targets. I think the Bears are already a favorable matchup, having scored nine or more points in all but one game since November 9th. However, if this is one of those games where Arthur Smith values Jonnu Smith over everyone then this could be a huge output for the Bears DST.

Cincinnati Bengals

I cannot believe I’m saying this. I like the Bengals DST against the Kansas City Chiefs. It almost feels weird to say this when Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are both mostly healthy. Travis is still slowed by his injuries this year but the bigger issue is everyone else. Pacheco might be out with a concussion and the WRs… The Chiefs have two kinds of WRs. Those who can get open but cannot catch the ball and those who cannot get open but can catch the ball. It’s ugly and we saw how bad things look when WRs who cannot catch the ball but can get open are the ones getting the snaps. The Bengals are in a must-win game and always elevate their play in Arrowhead. Maybe the DST can elevate their play for the title.
