Week 15 DFS Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel

Week 15 is here and if you didn’t make the playoffs this year, you still have a chance to win some money in DFS. Just because your season might be over, doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance to win. And if you are in the playoffs, then you could win double the money this year.

Just as a reminder, DraftKings has a salary base of $50,000, and FanDuel has a base of $60,000. Now, let’s get into it.

Week 15 DFS Picks:

Quarterbacks

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (DK $7,100 FD $8,200)

Justin Herbert has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks this season. He has 11 touchdowns since Week 11 and has put up at least 22 fantasy points in that stretch. This week he has the Chiefs on Thursday Night at home. The Chiefs defense is giving up 19.5 fantasy points to quarterbacks this season which is the sixth-worst. Herbert is a sure thing this week.

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (DK $5,700 FD $7,400)

If you want to take a chance on someone this week and save some money, then Tua Tagovailoa is your guy. This week he has the Jets, and the last time he faced the Jets he put up 19 fantasy points. Tagovailoa isn’t the flashiest quarterback, but since Week 6 he has finished inside the top 20 of fantasy quarterbacks. Also, all three of the Dolphins running backs are in COVID-19 protocols. So, Tagovailoa may have to throw the ball quite a bit, if they have no run game.

Running Backs

James Conner, Arizona Cardinals (DK $6,400 FD $8,000)

No matter what team James Conner goes against, he is going to go off. Even against the Rams last week he put up 34 fantasy points. This week he has the Lions who are giving up the third-most fantasy points to running backs. Conner has an unbelievable price on DraftKings, so he is a must-start there.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Kansas City Chiefs (DK $6,000 FD $6,900)

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is another one who is starting to catch traction over the last couple of weeks. This week he has the Chargers who are the second-worst fantasy defense against the run. This will be a high-scoring game as both defenses have their flaws. I expect Edwards-Helaire to have all the goal-line touchdowns this week.

Other Value Pick: Nick Chubb, Baltimore Ravens (DK $7,700 FD $8,000)

Wide Receivers

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals (DK $6,500 FD $6,800)

Ja’Marr Chase has overshadowed Tee Higgins this year, but if you look at the numbers, Higgins has been just as productive. Higgins is averaging more targets a game to Chase as well. This week the Bengals have the Broncos who are middle of the road when it comes to wide receivers. The Bengals are on the bubble to make the playoffs and I see them blowing the Broncos out this week.

A.J. Green, Arizona Cardinals (DK $4,900 FD $5,700)

A.J. Green is a sneaky pick this week if you want to save some money. DeAndre Hopkins is expected to miss the rest of the regular season with a knee sprain. This means Green and Christian Kirk will be the main options going forward. Green has an opportunity to have a big game this week against the Lions following their loss to the Rams.

K.J. Osborn, Minnesota Vikings (DK $4,500 FD $5,900)

K.J. Osborn is another one who is valued extremely low but has great upside with Adam Thielen out this week. Osborn has back-to-back games with a touchdown and 15 plus fantasy games. This week the Vikings have the Bears who are the sixth-worst fantasy defense against wide receivers. Dalvin Cook is starting to get hot again, but Osborn is a great flex option with a high touchdown upside.

Other Value Pick: Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders (DK $7,000 FD $7,500)

Tight End

Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons (DK $5,500 FD $5,800)

Kyle Pitts is not having the best season, but the Falcons have no options on offense this year. The salary is low on Pitts since he has not had many huge games, but I love him this week against San Francisco. He is valued low and will still get you 10 plus fantasy points this week. It is all about building a full team and now you can use that extra money at the wide receiver or running back position.

Other Value Pick: Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins (DK $5,000 FD $6,200)

Defense

Dallas Cowboys (DK $3,600 FD $4,600)

Daniel Jones could be back this week, but even if he is I have no doubt the Cowboys defense will destroy the Giants this week. Over the past two weeks, the Cowboys have put up 17 and 22 fantasy points. They have two defensive touchdowns, five interceptions, and three fumble recoveries in these two weeks. Play them while they are hot.
