2020 Fantasy Football: Week 4 Quarterback Streamers

More often than not, there will be some big-name QBs with terrible matchups that you may need to pivot from. This week is a rarity, for more reasons than one. The top guys at the position all have matchups they should be able to take advantage of. Nonetheless, there are plenty of defenses bleeding points to quarterbacks this season. Let’s target those matchups and fire up some Week 4 quarterback streamers.

Say what?! Your fantasy football league isn’t using Fantrax this season? Unthinkable! Check out all the features Fantrax has to offer, and we think you’ll be singing a different tune for the coming season.

Week 4 Quarterback Streamers

Joe Burrow vs JAX (78% rostered in Yahoo and 61% in ESPN)

Joe Burrow delivered in Week 3 as one of my favorite streaming options. So, it’s only right he stays in our lineups and remains at the top of the Week 4 quarterback streamers. After this week, I believe Burrow will be too highly rostered to make the streamer category. He has produced all season for fantasy and should continue to be a solid option.

We all saw what Ryan Fitzpatrick (Don’t forget that name) did to the Jaguars in Week 3. In case you didn’t, I’ll remind you that he did whatever he wanted to against the Jaguars defense. I expect Burrow to do the same. We saw a new weapon for the Bengals emerge in Week 3 as rookie receiver Tee Higgins found the end zone twice. I expect Higgins to continue to see an increase in snaps as this receiver group shapes up to be one of the deepest across the league.

Burrow’s ability to run along with the Bengals consistent passing volume gives him a solid floor, even if he is prone to rookie mistakes. This game has a 48.5 point Over/Under and I expect the over to hit with these two defenses struggling right now. Look for the Bengals to keep up a fast pace of play and Burrow to produce solid numbers once again in Week 4.

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs SEA (13% rostered in Yahoo and 12% in ESPN)

Fitzmagic was bound to make the streamers list sooner or later. Week 4 is his first of what I assume to be many appearances. Through 3 weeks, the matchup against Seattle speaks for itself. The Seahawks are allowing an absolutely ridiculous 440 passing yards per game. In part it is because teams are trying to keep up with Russell Wilson, but mostly it is because their defense stinks. These two things will go come into play for every Seahawks matchup as they are a true every week target to start QBs against.

Fitzpatrick has had 24 or more fantasy points in back to back weeks. We all know he is not afraid to let it loose. Devante Parker is two weeks removed from a hamstring injury he played through in Week 1 and should be able to take advantage of a very banged-up secondary for Seattle. The Seahawks may also be without key new addition Jamal Adams. This should open up plenty of opportunity for tight end Mike Gesicki in the middle of the field. It may look like a lot of comeback mode and garbage time, but points are points in Fantasy football. All signs point to this being a big week for Fitzpatrick and all weapons after 10 days of preparation.

Jared Goff vs NYG (72% Yahoo and 46% ESPN)

Jared Goff is my highest ranked on the Week 4 quarterback streamers list, coming in as my 10thranked QB on the week. I’m sure you can guess why he makes the cut. Correct, the New York Giants. The matchup at home certainly has a lot to do with this call, but Goff has been on fire the last two weeks.

Coming off back to back weeks with 3 touchdowns, Goff and the Rams offense is rolling right now. They are getting their playmakers the ball in space and the ball out quick to establish the pace they love to play with. Teams are having no choice but to focus on their run game, as they come into the week as the number one team in rush attempts. You may think this is bad for Goff, but I see it as an opportunity for them to utilize their play action passing game and call any play at any time.

Part of the QB streaming game is finding good matchups at home that should have plenty of scoring opportunities. One thing I am sure of is that the Rams will score plenty of points in this one. Goff is a guy I am going to be willing to fire up as a starter in any plus matchup this season. Take advantage this week and next against the Giants and Washington.
