Fantasy Football: Week 10 Quarterback Streamers

“Trust” is a word used often in Fantasy Football. This season more than ever, it is hard to find players you trust in your lineup week in and week out. The quarterback position has always been the deepest position in the game, a certain level of trust is the key in selecting a QB each week. Safe to say you trust guys like Kyler Murray and Patrick Mahomes every week. When streaming the position, trust may be something that is hard to find, if you are more of an upside player, these options usually have a lower floor. In some weeks, the streaming game actually comes with a high level of confidence. This week compared to others; you can put your trust in these Week 10 Quarterback Streamers.

Say what?! Your fantasy football league isn’t hosted on Fantrax? Unthinkable! Check out all the features Fantrax has to offer, and we think you’ll be singing a different tune for next season.

Week 10 Quarterback Streamers

Jared Goff vs SEA (77% rostered in Yahoo and 49% in ESPN)

This is certainly the headliner of the Week 10 Quarterback Streamers. I’m sure you’ve guessed, it’s not because Jared Goff has been particularly sharp this season. Especially because we have discussed time and time again how historically bad the Seahawks are against opposing pass games. Josh Allen, who hadn’t thrown a touchdown in two straight games, looked like Peyton Manning in his prime against this defense. You know what the streamer game is all about, matchup and opportunity. We can confidently check off box number one here.

Next up on the streamer checklist is opportunity. Opportunity for any QB comes when game script calls for more points and a higher percentage of pass plays. The Rams have not been the offense we hoped for in 2020, it is clear to see they want to run the ball and play defense. Both of those things are going to be difficult in Week 10. The Seahawks rank 4thin opponent rush yards per game, only allowing 93.6 yards each week. They also lead the league in Points per gameat 34.3. This game should translate to a shootout pretty quickly.

Coming off of a bye week, I would like to assume Sean McVay got the chance to re-evaluate his offense. Especially after a bad loss to the Dolphins. We know how badly he wants his passing game to get going, and I believe it will here. The volume and the matchup are there for the Rams to right the ship. Let’s see if Jared Goff can make it happen. Plug him in with confidence as my favorite Week 10 Quarterback Streamer.

Drew Lock @ LV (22% rostered in Yahoo and 18% in ESPN)

I’m going to be honest here, if you would have asked me Week 1 how many times would I recommend Drew Lock as a streamer this season, I would have answered ZERO with confidence. If you asked me that same question three weeks ago, I would have answered the same way. Things change weekly in the NFL, so here we are. I talked about trust earlier, throw that word completely out the window with this one. Of course, it’s hard to trust the Broncos starting QB, they stink. Fantasy isn’t about talent! I’ll say it again, matchup and opportunity.

I’m going to give you a bad stat about Drew Lock that will make it easier for you to choose him as a streaming option this week. I know, that makes absolutely no sense, but what does this season? Drew Lock has struggled this season under pressure and as you can see below, the Raiders do not pressure the quarterback. This allows downfield opportunities to guys like Jerry Jeudy who we are starting to see emerge these last couple weeks. Lock has made good use of his weapons and I expect that to continue here in a favorable matchup.

We are also seeing the Broncos somewhat abandon the run as the game goes on. Lock has 40 or more pass attempts in the last three games. It’s hard to expect 40 every week but as long as the volume is increased, the Fantasy points will be there. It may not be pretty, as a matter of fact, I wouldn’t watch the game. However, I would fire up Drew Lock in his streamer debut in the Week 10 Quarterback Streamers.

Carson Wentz @ NYG (76% rostered in Yahoo and 71% in ESPN)

I had to make sure you didn’t forget about good ole’ Carson Wentz on his bye week. Many people cut bait on the Eagles QB after a disaster in Week 9 against what most would say his most favorable matchup of the season. Just when you thought he couldn’t play worse, he managed to throw for 123 yards and four turnovers against the Cowboys. What should that mean for his Week 10 matchup? Nothing. Nothing at all. I’m going right back to Wentz this week, and I’m keeping him for a while.

The Eagles are getting healthy. I want you to read that again. The Eagles are getting healthy. Coming off their bye in Week 9, Wentz will be getting Miles Sanders and Alshon Jeffery back in Week 10. Jalen Reagor returned from injury prior to the bye and managed to find the end zone, but I am expecting even more from the rookie WR in this matchup. Dallas Goedert also returned from injury prior to the bye and I also expect him to be more involved in this game and going forward. The bye week was a very helpful one for the Eagles

These two teams have met previously this season and Wentz had his best game of the season. He tallied over 370 total yards and 3 total touchdowns. Don’t get carries away and expect that production, but a high floor is definitely there. With four rushing touchdowns and at least 10 rushing yards in six of eight games, the ceiling is there as well for Wentz. Scoop up and plug Wentz into your lineup for Week 10 and keep him there. The Eagles will face the Browns, Seahawks and Packers in their next 3 games.
