Fantasy Football 2023: Week 17 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

Championship Week has arrived! In Week 16’s Sleepers and Streamers, three of our four Wide Receivers recorded a touchdown. Chris Godwin is the only player that let us down and he still saw six receptions and 78 yards. With that being said, I want to thank everyone who reads these articles every single week. I hope they steered you in the correct direction and won you tons of match-ups throughout the season. If any of my Sleepers and Streamers cost you games, I apologize and will make up for it.

Week 17 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

Wide Receiver Sleepers

DJ Chark @ Jacksonville Jaguars

DJ Chark just took it back a few years ago when he was playing amazing for the Jaguars. Now, he gets his revenge game narrative and is my favorite receiver for Sleepers and Streamers this week. DJ Chark just had 27.8 fantasy points to go along with 98 yards and two touchdowns. The Jaguars have been getting torched by wide receivers over the past month and let Mike Evans have 27.6 fantasy points and 13.8 to Chris Godwin. Therefore, Chark has the perfect chance to go off against his former team and help teams capture a fantasy championship.

Rashid Shaheed @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

First of all, Rashid Shaheed has had big games this season and they go along with him having a touchdown. Secondly, the Buccaneers have given up 16 touchdowns to Wide Receivers and just gave up two to Calvin Ridley in Week 16. This is great news for Chris Olave AND Rashid Shaheed. Since Michael Thomas went down, the Saints have relied heavily on Olave. Feeling desperate or up against a powerhouse on Championship Sunday? Roll with Rashid Shaheed into your flex spot and watch him deliver you 15 fantasy points.

Wide Receiver Streamers

Amari Cooper vs New York Jets

Amari Cooper reminded us why he says he is “unguardable” and it makes sense now. Cooper single-handedly destroyed people’s dreams of winning a championship if you faced him in the semi-finals in Week 16. Cooper had over 250 yards with two touchdowns and 51.5 fantasy points. Although he faces the Jets in Championship Sunday, Joe Flacco has never, ever played with a Wide Receiver like Amari Cooper. I would confidently start Cooper even if he has to see Sauce Gardner in Week 17. The Browns have a shot at the division and the overall one-seed in the AFC. Fire up Cooper as he and Flacco will be dealing on Sunday.

George Pickens @ Seattle Seahawks

The entire world thought that Mason Rudolph starting for the Steelers in Week 16 meant bad news for the entire team. It turns out that it was the best thing that could have happened for the team. George Pickens accounted for 67% of Mason Rudolph’s yards in Week 16. Pickens had two touchdowns and 195 yards on just FOUR receptions. It was such a good impersonation of the famous Randy Moss game of three catches, 163 yards, and three touchdowns. Seattle has been a bottom team in terms of pass defense all season long with 14 touchdowns allowed to Wide Receivers and 181 ypg not including the stats from Week 16.
