Week 10 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire

Thomas Bryant, C – Los Angeles Lakers (38% rostered)

Thomas Bryant is back where it all began. He was traded to the Lakers on his draft day five years ago. Now he takes over the starting Center position with Anthony Davis set to miss at least one month due to a right foot injury. Bryant has filled in admirably, posting 21 points and six rebounds Friday night then dropping a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds Sunday. Bryant becomes an absolute must-add and will be a massive contributor in this Lakers offense. In his last three games where he’s played over 28 minutes, he’s averaging 17 points and 8 rebounds. Sign me up for those numbers all day! Rush to add him to before that holiday shopping today!

Donte DiVincenzo, PG/SG – Golden State Warriors (51% rostered)

Whenever Stephen Curry is out of the lineup, there is going to be opportunity to produce. Right now, it’s double D’s Donte DiVincenzo who’s taking advantage. Stephen Curry is out indefinitely with a left shoulder subluxation so DiVincenzo is running the show in the Bay area for the foreseeable future. The veteran has delivered averaging 16 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 4.0 3PTM over three of his past four games. The Warriors continue to rest guys like Klay Thompson so DiVincenzo will have plenty of opportunity to thrive in this Golden State offense. He’ll be a multi-category contributor and definitely worth an add.

Quentin Grimes, SG/SF – New York Knicks (26% rostered)

The sophomore Quentin Grimes is now a starter for the New York Knicks and deserves our attention this holiday season. When you go from 18 minutes a game In November to 34 minutes a game in December you get yourself an add off the waiver wire baby! Grimes has played excellent defense and is producing top-65 value over the last two weeks. The talented 22-year-old is averaging 14 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 3.3 3PTM over his last three games. He also has at least 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in four of his past six games. The multi-category production gets him an add this week!

Onyeka Okongwu, C – Atlanta Hawks (47% rostered)

The Atlanta Hawks have praised their 6th overall pick from 2020 heavily and he’s now starting due to the absence of Clint Capela. Even in a reserved role the 22-year-old always produces rebounds at a solid rate and is a great add if you’re in need of rebounds and blocks. Okongwu is averaging 11.7 points, 10 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in three of his past four games and is averaging a block per game over his last three starts. Capela is expected to miss two weeks so it makes the third-year-pro Okongwu a must-add over the holidays!
