Los Angeles Rams @ Detroit Lions:

Full disclosure, my picks this week are a bit chalk. However, that is because there are not many matchups that I am willing to gamble on in Week 7 outside of the heavy favorites. If you have been doing this thing right, you should have a few of your contenders remaining. If you have gotten through six weeks without burning these guys up you should be in good shape going forward. This matchup isn’t to hard to decipher, as the Rams should absolutely steamroll this lackluster Lions team in Matt Stafford’s revenge game.

Houston Texans @ Arizona Cardinals:

Similar case here to the Rams matchup, where I expect this game to not be a particularly close one. This Cardinals team is a legitimate title contender up to this point. They are solid on all sides of the ball, and I do not expect Davis Mills to be the one to bust up their undefeated record. I like the Cardinals as a safe survivor pool pick in Week 7.

Chicago Bears @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

Out of the three heavy betting favorites to play this week, I view the Bucs as the least sure thing of the bunch. Do not get me wrong they will likely win this game with flying colors, However, the Bears are a far more competent team than the Texans or Lions, so they will likely put forward the most competitive game out of the three of them. Tom Brady has struggled at times in his career against the Bears, and a healthy Justin Fields could make something happen. So although I like the Bucs in this matchup, I would rank them below the Cardinals and Rams as my locks of the week.

Matchup to Avoid:

Philadelphia Eagles @ Las Vegas Raiders:

The better answer is to avoid all of the matchups except the three heavy favorites this week. As literally all the rest of these games could go either way. But when I analyze the bunch, this is the game that is likely going to be the hardest to predict. The Raiders are coming off of a win behind their new head coach after the Jon Gruden resignation. Philly has been decent but not great this year. I expect this game to be close, and I could even see it coming down to a final drive. This is not the type of matchup that one should feel confident putting their survival pool on the line for.
