Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview: February 5-11

Welcome to the Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview for February 5 – 11. The NBA season is moving quickly and nearing the All-Star break. This is the last week for some leagues before the “fantasy play-in” starts (which is a fun wrinkle). For most leagues, playoffs will be beginning right around the All-Star break. For general managers, this is a quickly closing window of opportunity to improve your team via trade, free agency, or streaming. Depending on your place in the standings, it is time to get aggressive with your trades and think long-term about your waiver-wire additions. While you take inventory of your roster and maximize your talent, the below will cover your streaming needs next week.

Fantasy Basketball Streamers

This week’s schedule is light the entire week. The low nights are Monday (6 games), Friday (6 games), and Sunday (two games). Thursday (4 games) and Saturday (6 games). The best team to target for streaming this week is the Sacramento Kings, with games on Monday, Friday, and Sunday. The next best option is to target the Boston Celtics, especially toward the end of the week.

SACRAMENTO KINGS (MON/WED/FRI/SUN)

  • Malik Monk (SG/SF): Monk’s minutes have been lower lately but appear normal, meaning Monk is an immediate add this week and beyond.
  • Harrison Barnes (SF/PF): Barnes has not produced this year but is on a hot streak, making him a great play this week. Barnes produces points, threes, and rebounds when he has it going.

BOSTON CELTICS (WED/FRI/SUN)

  • Al Horford (PF/C): Horford is helpful in threes, rebounds, and assists from the center position. Horford’s value is boosted if Porzingis misses a game, too.
