2023-2024 NBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds for Week 4

On to another week of waiver wire adds. With each week that passes in a long NBA season, injuries are inevitable. There is too much wear and tear on the bodies of players which in turn leads to injuries. Last week, the players I wrote about were rostered in around 70-80% of leagues. This week, I will find players rostered anywhere from 50-70% of leagues for Week 4’s Waiver Wire adds.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds

Killian Hayes, PG/SG – Detroit Pistons (56% rostered)

Two weeks ago, Killian Hayes was rostered in less than 15% of leagues. Now, a week has passed and he is rostered in 56% of leagues. With his play picking up and him producing decent numbers, Hayes should be a priority pick-up for managers thin at guard. Hayes is averaging over 25 fantasy ppg and has picked up the pace in November. Currently, Hayes has seen 85.1 fantasy points in his past three games. The entire Pistons starting line-up did not have a great showing against the Bulls as the entire starting five, including Hayes, were negative in plus/minus. With that being said, Hayes should be added in all leagues with upside playing alongside Cade Cunningham.

Jaime Jaquez Jr, SF – Miami Heat (13% rostered)

As stated, injuries are inevitable and it has happened to Tyler Herro. The Miami Heat will be without their best scorer for a handful of weeks due to a sprained ankle. Now, this only leaves room for the type of players the Heat have. The Heat have guys who are constantly ready to perform. That is what has happened. Jaime Jaquez, a rookie has done all he can with Herro out. Jaquez has had three straight games of 23 or more fantasy points. On November 11th, Jaquez had the best of his career. He delivered 20 points and 29.6 fantasy points.

Then, in the following game, Jaquez had 33.7 fantasy points. That is a career-high through 10 games. All in all, at just 13% rostered and Herro out, Jaime Jaquez Jr is one of the biggest waiver wire adds for Week 4 of the NBA season.

Jalen Suggs, PG/SG – Orlando Magic (52% rostered)

Jalen Suggs and the Orlando Magic are on their way, just have a few more stops first. In nine games this season, Suggs has had over 24 fantasy points in eight of them. Besides the lackluster opener in game one, Suggs has been fantastic for this young Magic team. Suggs has had back-to-back games of 20 or more points and he has seen four or more steals in three games so far. Markelle Fultz has dealt with an injury to start the season, RJ Hampton is no longer there and Cole Anthony comes off the bench. The Magic are finally realizing who should be their franchise point guard after numerous lottery picks. Pick Suggs up now with the history of Fultz dealing with injuries, Suggs might be the full-time starter before November ends.
