2023 NFL Week 1 Injury Report: Who Needs to Be Benched in Fantasy Football?

Injuries are an unfortunate part of fantasy football. But they also offer an area where you can gain an advantage over your competition. Week 1 NFL Injury Report

Arizona Cardinals

  • TE Zach Ertz is PROBABLE to play, as he is expected to suit up and play today: Ian Rappoport
  • WR Marquise Brown is PROBABLE to play, as he is expected to suit and play today: Ian Rappoport

Atlanta Falcons

  • RB Cordarrelle Patterson is QUESTIONABLE to play, and a decision on his status will be made during the pregame practices: Cameron Wolfe

Baltimore Ravens

  • TE Mark Andrews is QUESTIONABLE to play, and he is unlikely to play this weekend: Ian Rappoport
  • WR Odell Beckham is PROBABLE to play, as he was taken off of the team’s injury report on Friday: Baltimore Ravens

Carolina Panthers

  • WR DJ Chark is OUT for Sunday’s game, despite practicing on Friday: Augusta Stone
  • WR Adam Thielen is QUESTIONABLE for Week 1, but he is expected to suit up and play for the Panthers: Cameron Wolfe

Chicago Bears

  • TE Robert Tonyan is QUESTIONABLE to play, as he was just added to the Injury Report yesterday: Bears Communication

Denver Broncos

  • WR Jerry Jeudy is DOUBTFUL to play and is not expected to suit up this weekend for the Broncos: Adam Schefter

Green Bay Packers

  • WR Christian Watson is OUT for this Sunday, as he missed practice all week and is nursing a hamstring injury that is classified as being week-to-week: Wed Hodkiewicz
  • WR Romeo Doubs is QUESTIONABLE for Week 1, as he is expected to play on a snap count: Ian Rappoport

Houston Texans

  • WR John Metchie is OUT for Week 1, as he hasn’t practiced since Wednesday: Jonathan M Alexander
  • RB Dare Ogunbowale is QUESTIONABLE for Sunday, as he was limited in practice all week long: Aaron Wilson

Indianapolis Colts

  • RB Zack Moss is QUESTIONABLE, as he has been limited all week long: Mike Chappell
  • RB Jonathan Taylor is OUT for Week 1, but he is likely to pass a physical today and might be ready to play once he’s eligible to return in Week 5 from the PUP List: Adam Schefter

Las Vegas Raiders

  • WR DeAndre Carter is QUESTIONABLE to play with a knee injury that has limited him this week: Raiders.com Staff

Los Angeles Rams

  • WR Cooper Kupp is OUT, as he was placed on Injured Reserve and will miss at least the first four games of the season: Adam Schefter

New England Patriots

  • RB Rhamondre Stevenson is PROBABLE with an illness, though he is expected to play: Ian Rappoport
  • WR DeVante Parker is DOUBTFUL to play, and is not expected to play this weekend: Ian Rappoport

New Orleans Saints

  • WR Tre’Quan Smith is OUT for Sunday’s game, as he was placed on the team’s Injured Reserve: Mike Triplett

New York Giants

  • TE Darren Waller is QUESTIONABLE for Sunday night’s game, but he is expected to play: Art Stapleton

New York Jets

  • RB Breece Hall is QUESTIONABLE to play on Monday, but he is expected to play; this latest report did not mention a snap count as others did: Mike Garafolo

San Francisco 49ers

  • TE George Kittle is QUESTIONABLE for Week 1, but he is expected to play: Adam Schefter
