Week 10 Fantasy Football Streamers

I’d love to toot my own horn and mention that if you read this article every week, you would’ve benefitted from picking up Terrace Marshall. Unfortunately, I also recommended PJ Walker (who was benched at halftime) and Denzel Mims (trended on Twitter for making a huge 12-yard catch, which was his only catch of the game). It’s a new week, friends! We’re picking waiver wire candidates for Week 10…let’s take a look at three potential starting candidates that you can plug into your lineups, ASAP.

Week 10 Fantasy Football Streamers

Case Keenum, Buffalo Bills, QB:

Josh Allen has a UCL injury. He hasn’t been ruled out of the game this week yet, but he also hasn’t been named starter. With as good as the Bills have been, I imagine they’ll want to opt to rest Allen for as long as they’ll need to, to keep him fresh for the playoffs. Let’s beat the crowd. Case Keenum is the backup, and he’s not some quarterback you’ve never heard of. He’s a former starter, and a competent one at that. With a game plan of throwing to Diggs/Davis, and staying out of the way, he can get us several 20+ fantasy point weeks if he’s called upon. If you need a starting QB for your bye weeks, this may be your best bet on the waiver wire.

Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers, WR:

Aaron Rodgers had the worst game of his career last week vs. the lowly Lions. I think it’s a safer bet that he will bounce back with a good game, than further disappoint. He won the MVP of the league last year. I refuse to believe that he’s fallen off of the cliff and he’s just done. I don’t care how mediocre his WR corp is. Speaking of that WR corp, Romeo Doubs will be out for a while with an ankle sprain. Sammy Watkins is not a fantasy weapon. The Green Bay front office was trying to trade for Darren Waller because Robert Tonyan hasn’t been cutting it. Lazard has been the #1 WR, but they drafted Watson to be that. Despite getting knocked out of the game last week, Watson is going to be as healthy as he’s been in quite some time this week. The Packers are five point underdogs vs. the Cowboys this week, so expect a pass-heavy game script. Watson is good for 10 targets, 80+ total yards, and a score.

Zay Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars, WR:

The Jags face the Chiefs this week as ten-point underdogs. The Chiefs are the better team, and there’s no denying that. That doesn’t mean the Jags won’t have fantasy points to be had on their roster. Trevor Lawrence is finally starting to look like an NFL starting caliber QB, now that he has a stable environment around him. This team is littered with speed, from Travis Etienne, to Evan Engram, to Christian Kirk, to… you guessed it… Zay Jones. The Jags will need to throw early and often to keep up with the Chiefs in this matchup. At only 34% rostered, Zay Jones is probably available in your leagues. In his last five games, he’s garnered 31 targets. I’m not bold enough to call a TD for him, as he’s only got one on the season, but I don’t think ten targets are out of the question for him in this matchup. Finding ten targets on your waiver wire is a steal. Pick him up!
