Fantasy Football Injury Report – NFL Week 9

NFL Injured Reserve

The following players are out of action for an extended period of time and will not be helping fantasy football managers in the near future.

Arizona Cardinals

  • RB James Conner is OUT until at least Week 10 with a knee injury, though he has gotten himself back onto the field and begun practicing, with a good chance to be playing on November 12: Tyler Drake
  • TE Zach Ertz is OUT for at least four weeks, but the plan is for him to return later in the season: Mike Garofalo

Baltimore Ravens

  • RB J.K. Dobbins is OUT for the season with an Achilles injury: Clifton Brown

Buffalo Bills

  • TE Dawson Knox is OUT for at least four weeks with a wrist injury: Buffalo Bills PR

Chicago Bears

  • RB Khalil Herbert is OUT for at least four weeks with an ankle injury: Tom Pelissero

Cleveland Browns

  • RB Nick Chubb is OUT for the season, but the worst-case scenario seems to have been avoided: Adam Schefter

Indianapolis Colts

  • QB Anthony Richardson is OUT for the season, but had successful surgery this week: Jim Irsay

Los Angeles Chargers

  • WR Mike Williams is OUT for the season with a torn ACL, but is expected to be ready at the start of next year’s training camp: Ian Rapoport

Los Angeles Rams

  • RB Kyren Williams is OUT and he won’t be eligible to return until at least Week 12: Adam Schefter

Miami Dolphins

  • RB De’Von Achane is OUT for at least four weeks with a knee injury, but is likely to be activated prior to the Dolphins’ Week 11 game: Adam Schefter

Minnesota Vikings

  • WR Justin Jefferson, who is OUT for at least four weeks with a hamstring ailment, will have imaging done in the middle of November to help determine if he can return this season: Adam Schefter
  • QB Kirk Cousins is OUT for the season after suffering a season-ending torn Achilles injury and successfully undergoing surgery: Kirk Cousins

New York Giants

  • PK Graham Gano is OUT for at least the next four weeks with a knee injury: Michael Eisen
  • TE Darren Waller is OUT for at least four weeks, as the rumors of his multi-week absence finally came to fruition: Field Yates

New York Jets

  • QB Aaron Rodgers is OUT for the season with an Achilles injury, as he has progressed to walking normally, but can’t yet jog: Ryan Cimini

Pittsburgh Steelers

  • TE Pat Freirmuth is OUT and won’t be eligible to return until at least Week 12: Teresa Varley

NFL Injury Report

Arizona Cardinals

  • QB Kyler Murray is OUT for Week 9, as he will not be activated, thus making Clayton Tune the starter for the Cardinals: Adam Schefter

Atlanta Falcons

  • WR Drake London is OUT for Week 9 because of a groin injury: Adam Schefter

Carolina Panthers

  • WR DJ Chark is QUESTIONABLE, though he is slated to play: Adam Schefter

Chicago Bears

  • QB Justin Fields is DOUBTFUL for Week 9, as his status has been described as “51% out”: Courtney Cronin

Cincinnati Bengals

  • RB Joe Mixon is QUESTIONABLE for Sunday night’s game, though he practiced in full toward the end of the week and that the designation was there because he was feeling sore: Cincinnati Bengals

Houston Texans

  • WR Robert Woods has been ruled OUT for this week’s game against the Buccaneers, as he hasn’t practiced in weeks: Houston Texans
  • RB Dameon Pierce is OUT for this week’s game with an ankle injury: Houston Texans

Indianapolis Colts

  • WR Josh Downs is QUESTIONABLE for Week 9, but is tracking to play and will have his knee checked out pre-game in order to determine his status: Adam Schefter

Kansas City Chiefs

  • RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is QUESTIONABLE for this week’s game due to an illness: Matt McMullen

Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Rams

  • WR Puka Nacua is QUESTIONABLE for Week 9, but is expected to play: Adam Schefter
  • QB Matthew Stafford is QUESTIONABLE with a thumb injury, and while it is unlikely that he will play this weekend, there is still time and leeway for that decision to be finalized and changed: Adam Schefter

New England Patriots

  • WR DeVante Parker is OUT for Sunday’s game with a concussion: Evan Lazar

New York Jets

  • WR Allen Lazard is QUESTIONABLE to play on Monday after sustaining an injury at practice yesterday: Rich Cimini
