Fantasy Football 2023: Week 15 Wide Receiver Rankings

Congratulations to those who make it to the first round of playoffs. Week 15 also means no mistakes can be made now so you’re going to need to see these wide receiver rankings. This week brings in a lot of great matchups, but also a lot of uncertainties. Like is Ja’Marr Chase going to get back to an elite level? Or will Mike Evans bounce back this week after having his worst game of the season? The answers are all below.

Wide Receiver Notes

  • Let’s start with Cooper Kupp as my WR9. So, if you made the playoff with Kupp as your first pick, then you can be an underdog to win the whole thing. Kupp has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games. He also has 18 targets in the last two games. The Rams are looking better and most importantly Matthew Stafford looks healthy as well. And this week Kupp is going against the second-worst fantasy defense against wide receivers. The Commanders are giving up 35.8 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. The Commanders have given up six receiving touchdowns in their last two games.
  • Keenan Allen drops to my WR17 for Week 15. Justin Herbert is on IR for his finger. So that means Easton Stick will be the starting quarterback. The Chargers also play the Raiders this week, and Las Vegas has been solid on defense as of late. I would move Allen down to a flex option this week and he could be benched too. The Chargers are on the road and in a win-or-go-home type of game, I’d rather start Garrett Wilson and Courtland Sutton over Allen.
  • Next, I have Adam Thielen as my WR34. Thielen saved some teams early on in the season. But, since his bye week, he has been unstartable. He hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 6. In his last three games, he only has nine receptions for 101 yards. And he has the Falcons this week who are top five in the least amount of points per game allowed to wide receivers. Bench Thielen this week.
  • Lastly, I have DK Metcalf as my WR11. He has a great matchup against the Eagles this week. Even if Drew Lock plays this week, I would start Metcalf in a heartbeat. The Eagles look lost as of the last couple of weeks and I can see Metcalf going off. The Eagles are giving up 31.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers and that is the worst in the league. I would also start Tyler Lockett as well. I know both of these wide receivers will go off this week.
