Fantasy Football 2023: Week 14 Wide Receiver Rankings

We made it! Week 14 is here and this is the last week of wide receiver rankings for the regular season. So, if you are on the bubble for playoffs, then you need to see these rankings. This is the time when you need to look like a genius. That means you may need to bench one of your top picks like Cooper Kupp for a player like Courtland Sutton, who has been on fire as of late.

Now that you’ve waited long enough let’s get into this week’s wide receiver rankings.

Wide Receiver notes.

  • Let’s start with Chris Godwin as my WR50. Godwin should not be in your starting lineup this week by any means. For one he is going up against a tough Atlanta Falcons defense who is only giving up 24 fantasy points to wide receivers per game. Second, Godwin only has one receiving touchdown on the year and since his 15.3-point Week 8 fantasy performance his fantasy high is 7.9. He got lucky last week with an end-around rushing touchdown because he had zero receptions on the day. Mike Evans is the only receiver to have on this team. Evans has out-targeted Godwin 54 to 36 since Week 8.
  • Next, I have Ja’Marr Chase as my WR10 against the Colts. When Joe Burrow went down, it looked like Chase’s fantasy season would be over. But, after getting a couple of weeks to practice with Jake Browning, it looks like Chase will be a league winner. Last week, he put up 26.1 fantasy points against the Jaguars. He has 12 targets and reeled in 11 for 149 yards and a touchdown. Chase looks like Browning’s favorite target and should be going forward.
  • Speaking of Sutton, I have him as my WR21. The Bronco’s win streak finally came to an end last week, but Sutton’s hot streak did not. Since Week 7 Sutton is WR17 on the season. He has nine touchdowns on the year and only has gone three games this season without a touchdown. Sutton also has a great schedule going forward going against the Chargers this week, then the Lions, Patriots, and Chargers. The Chargers are giving up the third most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season at 32.9.
  • Lastly, I have Davante Adams as my WR16 against the Vikings. Adams has been disappointing this season, but he has also dealt with three different quarterbacks this season. However, he is going against a defense that is great at stopping the run, but not the passing game. The Vikings are top five in the least amount of fantasy points given up per game to running backs, but for receiving they are giving up the 11th most per game. So, if Adams is going to have a bounce-back game after a bye week, it is going to be the Vikings.
