Fantasy Football 2023: Week 13 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

This Sleepers and Streamers column has two more weeks left in the regular season. Calvin Ridley delivered a big game last week and so did Jayden Reed. Greg Dortch found the end-zone but finished as the WR33. With that being said, there are a handful of receivers on byes this week. Jakobi Meyers, Davante Adams, DJ Moore, Stefon Diggs, Zay Flowers, and Jordan Addison all have byes in Week 13. Two weeks before the playoffs, teams will be scrambling to find replacements in the most crucial part of the fantasy football season.

Week 13 Wide Receiver Sleepers and Streamers

Wide Receiver Sleepers

Brandin Cooks vs. Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith has an elbow issue. There is not much life in the Seattle Seahawks offense because of this and Kenneth Walker being injured. With that being said, this puts tons of stress on the defense constantly having to be on the field. The Seahawks are allowing the 14th most ppg to Wide Receivers this season. It gets tougher as they have to face the Quarterback who has been playing the best the past five weeks. The Dallas Cowboys will have a blast facing the Seahawks. Brandin Cooks has had three touchdowns in his last five games. With that being said, I like Cooks to get another TD where he has had three of his four touchdowns at home this season.

Curtis Samuel vs. Miami Dolphins

Being linked to Sam Howell has been fabulous for Curtis Samuel when he is seeing a healthy dose of targets. Samuel just had a game with 19 fantasy points and, 100 yards, and a WR16 finish in Week 11. Samuel has yet to see a snap share of over 74% which is impressive. In such a pass-friendly offense, Samuel is an intriguing start against a Dolphins team that will be putting up a ton of points and yards. Expect Sam Howell to pass upwards of 40 times and aim for Samuel on ten of those.

Wide Receiver Streamers

Josh Downs @ Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have allowed the eighth most fantasy ppg in the past month to receivers. First of all, Josh Downs had a down week with just nine fantasy points. Secondly, he saw 13 targets which is the second time this season he sees double-digit targets. With that being said, Gardner Minshew averages over 30 pass attempts a game. Expect a tough divisional game in Week 13 and Downs to turn his targets into valuable yards and fantasy points.

Garrett Wilson vs. Atlanta Falcons

All in all, this guy should never have made this list at any point in this season. Aaron Rodgers being lost for the season due to injury has caused this. Currently, Wilson is just the WR30 (same as last season) and is averaging just 0.4 ppg more than his rookie season. This makes people wonder just how high he would have finished with Rodgers under center. He gets the Falcons who just allowed Chris Olave to go for seven catches and 114 yards before leaving in the third with a concussion. Wilson is truly the only option on the Jets offense besides Breece Hall. Fire him up as with way too many Wide Receivers on a bye, Wilson has a great chance at finishing inside the top 20 at his position in Week 13. Wilson is my favorite Wide Receiver in Sleepers and Streamers.
