Fantasy Football 2023: Week 10 RB Rankings

As we roll into Week 10 wins are as crucial as they’ve ever been, and these RB rankings will make sure you land in the win column. The Week 10 bye doesn’t hurt the RB position that much as it is mainly Raheem Mostert and D’Andre Swift, both of whom have slowed down in recent weeks.

As for a recap of last week, we finally saw another big performance from Josh Jacobs, and Rachaad White continued his hot streak as the RB1. Aaron Jones had a solid game and so did Johnathan Taylor. We are starting to see a trend of these early draft picks coming alive. Right in time for the playoffs. Let’s see if we can see some repeat performances.

Running Back Notes

  • Jacobs is my RB7 on the week against the New York Jets. In his last two games, he has three touchdowns and 159 rushing yards. It looks like the Josh McDaniels firing got the Raiders back on track as they blew out the New York Giants. He has a great matchup against the Jets this week who are giving up around 20 fantasy points per game to RBs. Roll with him as an RB1.
  • Bijan Robinson is my RB10 this week, but he is an interesting RB going forward. Robinson out-snapped Tyler Allgeier 42 to 24. But it was Allgeier who got the red zone work. Allgeier only out-carried Robinson by one carry. But in the red zone, Allgeier had four carries for a touchdown and Robinson had no carries inside the 20. But, the Falcons do have the Cardinals this week and I just have a feeling Robinson is due for a break. We’ve seen what he’s done with just 10 to 15 carries in a game. The Cardinals are the third-worst fantasy defense to RBs this season. He has all the upside this week.
  • Alexander Mattison lands as my RB26 this week against the Saints. Cam Akers suffered an Achilles injury last week, so the backfield belongs to Mattison yet again. But, he does have a tough matchup against the Saints, who are only giving up 14.5 fantasy points to RBs. I would have Mattison as a flex start this week or RB2 if you have Mostert or Swift on bye.
  • Lastly, I have Kareem Hunt as my RB31. Yes, he does have five touchdowns in his last three games, but Jerome Ford is getting healthier and taking away the carries. Hunt is getting the goal line work though. But, he just isn’t getting the yards or receptions we were once used to. He should be benched this week as he has the Ravens defense who is only giving up 15.8 fantasy points per game to RBs. If Ford wasn’t taking up so much volume, I would take the risk on Hunt. But, the risk is too high this week just to hope for a two-yard goal-line touchdown.
