Fantasy Football 2022: Week 6 RB Rankings

Week 6 is here and that means another round of RB rankings from yours truly. The first bye week of the season is here. So that means no Josh Jacobs, Derrick Henry or Dameon Pierce. All of which have been hot the last couple of weeks. But, don’t worry, these Week 6 RB Rankings will be your cheat sheet for setting your lineup. This list can be used on who to pick up off waivers or which bench player you need to plug into your lineup.

Let’s not keep you waiting and let’s talk about some key players for the week.

Just as a reminder, these rankings lists are based on half-PPR scoring.

Week 6 RB Notes:

  • Saquon Barkley has not disappointed this year. And by the looks of it, you probably got him in the second or third round. Anyway, he is my RB1 yet again. He has 533 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on the season.
  • My RB10 may surprise you this week, but it has to be Breece Hall. Hall was one of my breakout rookies for the season, and with Zach Wilson back, his production has improved. The Jets do have a fair matchup against the Packers this week. But Hall is too versatile to be benched this week. He can run, catch and score touchdowns.
  • Rhamondre Stevenson is here and Damien Harris will be out for a few weeks. Stevenson is my RB14 and honestly, I think he is the RB1 on the team. Stevenson got the workload and put up 161 rushing yards. That is elite. They also have the Browns this week who are giving up the third most fantasy points to running backs on the season.
  • Raheem Mostert is the guy in Miami now. I thought it would be Chase Edmonds, but it is Mostert by a mile. I have Mostert as my RB20 against Minnesota. In the last two weeks, Mostert has had 15 and 18 carries. Edmonds had five and one carry. Minnesota is giving up 22 fantasy points per game to running backs. Mostert is a great RB2 or flex this week.
  • Lastly, I have Najee Harris as my RB23. Najee Harris has been terrible this year. But, it isn’t his fault the offensive line is bad and he is not involved in the passing game like he was last season. I would bench him against Tampa Bay this week. He actually would drop lower, but Najee Harris is the only running back on that team. He has no competition, so the volume will be there. That the only hope left with him, is his volume.
