Fantasy Football 2022: Week 13 RB Rankings

Just two more weeks until the playoffs start, so that means Week 13 is crucial and you should pay attention to my Week 13 RB Rankings. As far as bye weeks, James Connor will be out this week. This is a big blow as he has been solid the last few weeks.

But, don’t worry Brian Robinson Jr., Isiah Pacheco, and Rachaad White all have great matchups this week. But who has the best matchup? The list will tell you below.

So on that note, let’s get into this week’s rankings.

Running Back Notes:

  • White is my RB15 against the Saints this week. The Saints have one of the better rush defenses in the league this season, but White is growing and growing each week. Not only is he an efficient rusher, but he kills it in the passing game as well. Leonard Fournette is questionable once again. I see him sitting out one more game as White has the backfield covered.
  • I have Jeff Wilson Jr. as my RB13 this week as Raheem Mostert should be out another week. Wilson has become one of the best waiver pickups this year. This week he has his former team the 49ers. They have one of the best rush defenses in the league. However, I am always on board for a revenge game. The Dolphins have a lot of firepower and I expect a high-scoring game. Also if you look at the 49ers schedule, they have had one of the easiest schedules this year. The Dolphins should run up and down this defense.
  • On the other side, I have Christian McCaffrey as my RB9. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t start him, but I don’t think he will have a top-five finish this week. All signs point to him having a monster game with Elijah Mitchell out for the season. But the 49ers coaching staff is playing it safe with McCaffrey. He did bang up his knee a little last game but still played. Jordan Mason did snag some carries last game and I expect him to snag even more this week. McCaffrey still has all the firepower but isn’t getting the volume.
  • Lastly, I want to talk about Pacheco. The Chiefs did sign Melvin Gordon III. But, don’t let that scare you out of starting Pacheco this week. Last week Pacheco was on the field for 51% of snaps and Jerick McKinnon was on the field for 34% of snaps. But Pacheco had 22 carries and McKinnon had none. Pacheco is the lead back going forward and Gordon is nothing but an insurance player for the Chiefs.
