We made it! The end of the shortened 72-game NBA regular season concludes this week. Thank you to everyone who joined us here with the weekly waiver wire report! Week 21 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire

Jaxson Hayes, C – New Orleans Pelicans (15% owned)

Anything goes during the final week of the NBA season. The Pelicans have basically thrown in the towel shutting down Zion Williamson for the season and continue to label Brandon Ingram as out. Steven Adams is also out due to a toe injury which opens up the door for the sophomore Hayes. Hayes has been excellent during his last two games averaging 18.5 points, 8 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 4.5 blocks. If he can get over the 30-minute mark over this final week, Hayes will have the potential for an All-Star type return. Queue the Mortal Kombat Jax ground pound baby. He can’t be stopped!!

R.J. Hampton, PG – Orlando Magic (37% owned)

I mentioned R.J. Hampton in the previous weekend streams article but I have to double-down in case you missed it as the sophomore Hampton is a must-add player right now. Over his last five games, Hampton is averaging 17.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists scoring at least 16 points in every game. Magical stuff right their baby! The 21-47 Magic are going to be testing out their youth all week long so I’m getting a seven-night stay at the Hampton Inn! Another great week for Hampton awaits.

KJ Martin Jr., SF – Houston Rockets (32% owned)

Another weekend streamer and another player whose ownership is just way too low. This is Championship-winning material right here folks. No one is healthy in Houston and it’s the Martin Jr show. Martin is on an absolute tear right now averaging 25.3 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 3PM over his last three games including two double-doubles. There is no problem in Houston this week regarding KJ Martin. Pick him up!

Rui Hachimura, SF/PF – Washington Wizards (49% owned)

It’s been an up and down season for the sophomore forward, but Rui Hachimura has a great chance for one great final week. Bradley Beal suffered a minor left hamstring strain after scorching the Pacers for 50 points Saturday. Enter Hachimura who was scorching himself in March posting 24/7 lines throughout the month. Some minor injuries and Covid-19 protocols stunted Hachimura’s pace but he’s coming on strong again averaging 20 points and 6.5 rebounds last week. No Beal is massive and vaults Hachimura into the no.2 scoring role in D.C. I’m signing up for a big Hachimura week and him becoming the Robin to Russell Westbrook’s Batman.

Killian Hayes, PG/SG – Detroit Pistons (24% owned)

It’s finally Killian Hayes time in Mo-Town! The 7th overall pick had his best night of the season on Sunday notching career-highs in minutes, points, and rebounds posting 21 points, 7 rebounds while adding 8 assists in 38 minutes. The Pistons have nothing to play for this week so it’s all about developing their prize possession in Hayes. I’m revving up my Pistons this week, that’s for sure.
