Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds: Week 9

The Waiver Wire adds for Week 8 saw players like Caleb Martin and Tim Hardaway Jr. Caleb Martin was an amazing add the past few weeks with no Tyler Herro. Also, Bam Adebayo has missed the past few games which in turn, has left more scoring available to Martin. Tim Hardaway Jr. saw three games last week and had 29 or more fantasy points in two. Here are the top Waiver Wire adds for Week 9 of the Fantasy Basketball season.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds

Goga Bitadze, C – Orlando Magic (56% rostered)

Being rostered at just 56% of Fantrax leagues is surprising. Wendell Carter Jr has missed 20 games dating back to November with a broken finger. With that being said, Goga Bitadze has filled in perfectly for the most surprising team in the NBA this season. Bitadze has seen over 24 minutes in his last five games. In his last ten games, he has seen 30 or more fantasy points six times. Currently averaging 39.7 fantasy ppg in his past five games, with Carter Jr still not being in the clear for real game action, Bitadze will continue to produce at high levels at your Center position.

Isaiah Hartenstein, C – New York Knicks (62% rostered)

As a New York Knicks fan, it pains me to say this. The Knicks will struggle tremendously without Mitchell Robinson for the next two months. Although our defense will take a hit, we have more scoring from our backup, now starter, Isaiah Hartenstein. Hartenstein, the better scorer than Robinson has already made his impact. Since December 5th, the Knicks have played six games. Hartenstein has had 38, 53.5, 42.5 29, 41.5, and 48 fantasy points. He has seen over 29 minutes in four of the last five games. With all this being said, at being rostered in just 62% of Fantrax leagues, Hartenstein should be a priority Waiver Wire add for fantasy managers. Isaiah Hartenstein is my best Waiver Wire add for Week 9.

Jonathan Kuminga, F/C – Golden State Warriors (77% rostered)

The dynasty that used to be the Golden State Warriors is done for. Draymond Green is suspended and Klay Thompson just is not the same after a torn ACL and torn Achilles. With that being said, it is time for the young guys to help Stephen Curry out. Jonathan Kuminga should be the top beneficiary of the Draymond Green suspension. Kuminga is averaging 15.2 ppg in his last five games. He has also seen 20 or more minutes of game time in the last four games. He had seen over 20 minutes just three times in the previous six. With that being said, Kuminga is one of the future assets for the Warriors’ rebuild and should be played a ton more during this Green suspension.
