Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds: Week 22

The time has arrived. It is the final Waiver Wire add article for the Fantasy Basketball season. Over 20 weeks with numerous articles. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to those who have read them and I hope this has helped you become a better Fantasy Basketball player.

Now, the most important part about the regular season coming to an end is that teams will start resting their star players. For example, the Celtics have clinched the overall one seed in their conference. With that being said, expect teams that have nothing to play for anymore to start dishing out different lineups. It is always the players you least expect to help you win a championship. The final Week features a guard from a top team and two forwards/centers from teams on opposite paths.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds

Payton Pritchard, G – Boston Celtics (51% rostered)

As stated, teams that have clinched or have nothing to play for will dish out different lineups. With the Boston Celtics having the overall one seed in the Eastern Conference locked up, expect rest time for the starters. This is where a player like Payton Pritchard will excel in these last two weeks of the regular season. Pritchard has seen 30 or more fantasy points in five consecutive games. In those five games, he has also seen 30 or more minutes, double-digit points, and shots, too. He has averaged just 17.6 fantasy ppg this season. but in the past week, that has shot up to 34.5 fantasy ppg. Pritchard is rostered in just 51% of Fantrax leagues. This number will skyrocket, so get on that Waiver Wire while you can and add Payton Pritchard.

Santi Aldama, F/C – Memphis Grizzlies (70% rostered)

Santi Aldama has scored double-digit points in nine of his last ten games. He has played even better in the past week. A current average of just 23.6 fantasy ppg on the season has gone up to 27.91 the past month and 39.42 the past week. The Grizzlies are eliminated from the playoffs. With the amount of injuries they have dealt with this season, different players have stepped up for them all year long. As of late, it is Santi Aldama helping Jaren Jackson Jr. and he is rostered in 70% of Fantrax leagues. Once again, it is players you least expect to help you capture a fantasy basketball championship. Santi Aldama is one of those players. The usage and production have been there and he should be on your team helping you reach glory.

Kyle Anderson, F – Minnesota Timberwolves (71% rostered)

First of all, Kyle Anderson has not been on anyone’s radar all year long. Now, during fantasy championship week, Anderson looks poised to help you win. Anderson has averaged just 19 fantasy ppg this season. Yet, he has averaged 28.25 fantasy ppg the past week. Anderson has also seen double-digit points in six of his last seven games. Overall, Kyle Anderson has been feeling up the stat sheet, having averages of 10.7 ppg, 5 reb per game, and 4.7 assists per game. With Karl Anthony Towns out, role players must step up. Naz Reid and Kyle Anderson have done just that. Look to add him on Monday morning.

Final thoughts

See you next season for some Waiver Wire adds. Be sure to add league winners like Ayo Dosunmu, Payton Pritchard, and others I have written about the past couple of weeks. Once again, thank you to all who have read my Waiver Wire adds. Good luck this week and go win those Fantasy Basketball championships.
