Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview: December 20-26

Welp. As exciting as this week is leading up to NBA’s Christmas Day games, we should remain slightly cautious the Holiday showcase might be more like the G-League showcase. At the time of writing this, there have been seven games postponed, with more likely coming. Currently, there are nearly 70 players in Health and Safety Protocol. While we all wish each player health and safety from injury and coronavirus, we are left with an interesting week for fantasy purposes. Let’s dive in.

Streaming Options: Team Edition

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER (4 games)

Kenrich Williams (SF)

Do not expect Williams to be consistent, but he is certainly worth a look if you need a stream. He is capable of filling up on the box score on any given night, even with minutes in the mid-20s.

Darius Bazley (SF/PF)

Darius Bazley leaves a lot to be desired, and usually isn’t more than a deep league option. However, in a short week with NBA games being postponed left and right, it makes sense to get in as many minutes as you can. Bazley’s shooting percentage hurts, but he can provide a fun stat line that is helpful while potentially producing 1 three, 1 steal, and 1 block each night he plays.

NEW ORLEANS PELICANS (3 games)

Herb Jones (SF)

Jones has been getting consistent minutes and has turned in respectable performances over the past month. Over the last two weeks, Jones has averages of 11 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1.4 blocks on over 50% shooting. He may be inconsistent, but worth a look since he has a reliable role and is trending up.
