Gameweek 20 Waiver Wire Targets

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 20 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.  These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period!

Craig Dawson

Position: Defender

Team: West Ham United

Rostered: 30%

Next Fixture: Watford

Prospects: Dawson has been somewhat of a mainstay in our waiver suggestion articles as he is one of the best examples of a weekly waiver wire pickup with high upside. Although West Ham has been disappointing of late, a COVID-ridden Watford side should be no match for them. Dawson is an ideal target as he can contribute with defensive ghost points as well as attacking threats from set pieces.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0-3% of my remaining FAB on Dawson.

Donny van der Beek

Position: Midfielder

Team: Manchester United

Ownership: 9%

Next Fixture: Burnley (Home)

Prospects: With Fernandes suspended and McTominay carrying a knock, surely it is time for the dutchman to put in a shift in the middle of the pitch. If so, he is definitely worth a pickup as the abject performance last night should elicit some response from this united team.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 2-5% of my remaining FAB on VDB.

Joelinton

Position: Forward

Team: Newcastle

Ownership: 40%

Next Fixture: Everton (Away)

Prospects: Sir Joe of Lintonshire, as he is known in the Draft community has really flourished in his new role under Eddie Howe (this was his original role in Germany that had him perform so well that warranted his huge transfer sum). He looks so comfortable serving as a hub for the attacks, one wonders why Steve Bruce chose to play him as a target man. The Joelinton revival is well and truly on, and his Fantrax points are there to tell the story. Pick him up and keep him rostered.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 3-7% of my remaining FAB on Joelinton.
