Coke Zero Sugar 400: NASCAR DFS Picks

Qualifiers on Friday were canceled due to weather, so we had to turn to the official rulebook to establish the order for tonight’s Coke Zero Sugar 400, the final regular-season race. Based on that, the Top 10 will look like this:

  1. Kyle Larson
  2. Chase Elliott
  3. Joey Logano
  4. Daniel Suarez
  5. Christopher Bell
  6. Tyler Reddick
  7. Kevin Harvick
  8. Chris Buescher
  9. Michael McDowell
  10. Alex Bowman

Coke Zero Sugar 400 DFS Picks

As we discussed in our preview, there is a lot at stake in this race, and the lack of qualifying races impedes our ability to know how the track is running at this point. It creates an element of randomness that isn’t otherwise there, which is the type of thing we can leverage to our benefit. Here is a look at some of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 values on both sites.

FanDuel Values

DriverSalaryQP
Chase Briscoe $5,80026
Kevin Harvick $6,2007
Brad Keselowski $6,80024
Aric Almirola $6,00027
Kyle Busch $10,00022

DraftKings Values

DriverSalaryQP
Brad Keselowski $7,20024
Kyle Busch $9,40022
Aric Almirola $6,70027
William Byron $8,40017
Denny Hamlin $9,60019

Brad Keselowski appears on both lists, as does Aric Almirola. Starting 24th and 27th, the two have abundant positional movement potential with low salaries. Kyle Busch starting 22nd is such a slam dunk option that it will be prudent to fade him in a couple of lineups.

Martin Truex Jr., at 13, starts three spots ahead of Ryan Blaney in the all-important head-to-head points competition. This is statistically insignificant, and the two will seek out teammates to give themselves a boost. I still prefer Blaney due to track history, but this battle will be worth watching from beginning to end.

Here are two lineups I plan on entering in GPP contests for the Coke Zero Sugar 400.

FanDuel Lineup

DriverSalaryQP
Ryan Blaney $13,50016
William Byron $10,50017
Kyle Busch $10,00022
Brad Keselowski $6,80024
Chase Briscoe $5,80026
TOTAL $46,600

DraftKings Lineup

DriverSalaryQP
Ryan Blaney $10,00016
Denny Hamlin $9,60019
Kyle Busch $9,40022
William Byron $8,40017
Brad Keselowski $7,20024
Noah Gragson $5,30037
TOTAL $49,900
