CFB Sleepers on FanDuel: Week 4

CFB Day Slate (Cobbett)

QB DJ Uiagalelei, Clemson, $8,700

I like DJ Uiagalelei this week with the lower number, especially against the Wake defense. DJ U is averaging 20.4 FPPG thus far and gets it done passing and rushing. He is averaging 220.67 YPG in the air and has five passing touchdowns, and he also averages nine carries per game with a rushing touchdown. Expect him and Will Shipley to be heavily involved in the run game to keep the ball out of Sam Hartman’s hands, all the while giving DJ U two outlets of production.

RB Tank Bigsby, Auburn, $6,900

Tank Bigsby is having a quiet season so far, but I think he has a big game in this one against Mizzou. With the QB situation being what it is for the Tigers, I expect him to get more carries. Jarquez Hunter will also see an uptick in production, but I think the Tigers will rely on the upperclassman Bigsby to lead the way.

RB Omarion Hampton, UNC, $7,700

Omarion Hampton has been a workhorse this season as he has averaged 12.67 carries per game as well as 76 YPG and has five scores. He is averaging 17.6 FPPG, but his outlier performance against Appalachian State is hindering that number a bit. Hampton has been a solid choice out of the backfield, and I think he has good value at his current salary.

WR Ronnie Bell, Michigan, $7,100

Ronnie Bell has had solid games the last two times out thanks to J.J. McCarthy being the starter. In his last two games, he has racked up 13 receptions, 172 yards and a touchdown, producing 29.7 FPP. With McCarthy in and with the thought of Michigan having to counter the Maryland pass-first offense (especially if Michigan falls behind), all the factors point to Bell having a solid game.

CFB Night Slate (Cobbett)

QB Cameron Ward, Washington State, $9,000

The Cougars’ quarterback is coming off a solid week against Colorado State, in which he threw four touchdowns and racked up 23.7 FPP. Oregon’s defense allows 277 passing yards and nearly 375 yards of total offense per game. This Washington State offense is much better than we have seen recently, and Ward has a lot of weapons at his disposal.

RB TreShaun Ward, Florida State, $7,800

I think we may see Florida State run the ball a lot, especially if Travis isn’t 100%. Ward is averaging 13 carries per game and has averaged 100.67 YPG and has two scores. If Ward picks up a touchdown or two in this one, this guy could bring tremendous value to your DFS lineup.

WR Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Ohio State, $8,500

I think we are all ready to see JSN breakout this season, unless you are a Badgers’ fan. JSN has been limited to just four receptions and 36 yards this season. OSU has tremendous talent in the WR room, no doubt the best in the country, but that means there could be a lot of variation as to who has the big game. I like JSN to explode in this one, and at this salary, he is a very attractive option for your lineup.

WR Donovan Ollie, Washington State, $7,600/ De’Zhaun Stribling, Washington State, $7,400

Donovan Ollie has 19 receptions and 183 yards with two touchdowns in his first three games this season. He gets the ball often. If he finds the endzone, he could be an X-factor for your lineup this week. As for De’Zhaun Stribling, he has 14 receptions, 136 yards, and three scores and has averaged 12.9 FPPG this season. Either one could be a good option on Saturday.
