3 NBA Player Prop Bets for 2/4/23

I’m getting my ASS beat in the month of February (3-5 record)! We went 1-2 again last night, with more bad beats. Bogdanovic started the 1st quarter with 11, but finished with 21, when we had OVER 24. Sabonis hit, but barely, and only because we went with a conservative line. Lastly, Anthony Edwards missed his OVER 38 PRA, and lost to MAGIC?! Sheesh. Our process is sound. The results will come. Stay solid, y’all. With prop bets, we don’t need to wait for season-long storylines to play out. Every day is a new day. Fantrax wants to help you win a bit of money, so we will be giving you NBA Player Prop Bets every week. We’ll shy away from keying in on any particular sportsbook, as we know odds vary, and so do props. We’ll focus on our projections, and allow you to find your best odds. Let’s get into today’s prop bets.

NBA Player Prop Bets for February 4

Cam Thomas OVER 15 Points:

Kyrie Irving has officially requested a trade after being offended by the Nets’ extension offer that had stipulated guarantees. It’s reported that after the offer, Kyrie wouldn’t have signed with the Nets, even if they changed the offer to full guarantees. Just when I thought the Nets were contenders again, the uncertainty hits. I don’t know if he’ll be sitting tonight or playing, but I can say that the Nets have finally let Cam Thomas do his thing again. He’s played at least 23 minutes in his last two games, and taken at least 13 shots in both (finishing with 19 and 21 points). I imagine Kyrie sitting means more responsibility for Thomas, but just in case Kyrie plays, I’ll keep a conservative 15 point line. It’s actually not all that conservative when you realize he averages 7 PPG on the year. The Nets take on the Wizards tonight, who are middle of the road defensively (15th).

Julius Randle OVER 36 Points + Rebounds + Assists:

When you’re struggling, it always feels nice to bet on the sure thing. When it comes to consistency, Julius Randle has been the definition this year. The Knicks take on the Clippers tonight, and while I respect that the Clippers have a top ten defense, that’s mainly due to their wing defense with Kawhi and Paul George. They don’t really have anything for Julius Randle. Randle has had OVER 36 PRA in each of his last seven games. You won’t get great odds on this because he can literally score 36 points in a game, so I’d include 36 PRA in a leg of your parlays.

Nikola Jokic OVER 40 Points + Rebounds + Assists:

It’s Nikola Jokic. There is no defense to defend him. It’s why he’s a back-to-back MVP. It’s why he’s on his way to getting a third MVP. It’s why the Denver Nuggets are 1st in the East. It’s why Jokic has had OVER 40 PRA in each of his last 10 games. It’s why Jokic will hit that mark again, in a pace up matchup vs. a 20th ranked defense. This bet is as sure as a U.S. Treasury Bond. Book it. Use it in a parlay.
