2023 Consensus Fantasy Baseball Outfield Rankings

Spring has sprung! Pitchers and catchers report this week and Spring Training games are not very far away. With that of course comes a nice normal preseason of fantasy baseball draft prep. For you, that means reading and listening to as much content as possible. For the FantraxHQ staff, it means flushing out their rankings and getting ready for the inevitable onslaught of criticism that will come their way. Rankings MLB players is not easy and with a player pool hundreds deep, the differences between players can get very narrow. Remember this as you peruse or consensus outfield rankings for 2023 fantasy baseball.

The season is not here yet, but why not get a head start and jump in a Fantrax Classic Draft contest? Get a jump on the season with a Best Ball league or maybe a Draft and Hold. Or put some green on the line with a new season-long league to try and conquer. There’s no better time than now to get your baseball on!

The 2023 Outfield Pool

We’ve become accustomed to talking about how the outfield is so deep. Is it really? Sure there’s an incredibly talented top 10 and you can find usable players pretty late, but the middle tiers seem to blend together more than usual this year and the questions begin just after that top tier. You’ll see in the outfield rankings below, that there is a lot of disagreement throughout that big middle grouping. A lot of leagues are going to be won and lost based on decisions on these outfielders during the middle and late rounds of fantasy baseball drafts.
