2023-2024 NBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds for Week 6

This week’s fantasy basketball waiver wire recommendations feature three guards and no big men. All three are “bucket getters.” When points are needed, find these guys to get you an easy basket. Currently, they are all rostered in under 75% of all Fantrax leagues. With that being said, these waiver wire adds consist of players on the rise. These players have had a good previous week and can add value to your team or can be used as a trade piece to a struggling team in your league. Here are the Week 6 waiver wire adds.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds

Collin Sexton, G – Utah Jazz (73% rostered)

Collin Sexton is one of the most underrated players in the league. He was eventually replaced by Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell, so that is understandable. In Utah, he has found himself coming off the bench and making the most of it. In his recent five games, Sexton has averaged 21.25 fantasy points. He has had six games of 20 or more fantasy points in his last ten. With being rostered in just 73% of Fantrax leagues, add Sexton. Sexton is the spark of the Utah Jazz’s bench. A 18ppg career scorer, Sexton will help your team in that department.

Norman Powell, G – Los Angeles Clippers (66% rostered)

Once again, another guard who knows how to score and score well. Norman Powell is rostered in just 66% of Fantrax leagues. Powell averaged 16 or more ppg from the 2019-2020 season until just last season. Obviously, the addition of James Harden and now Russell Westbrook on the bench has taken some looks away from Powell. Nonetheless, Powell is averaging 14.7 ppg in his last seven games. Altogether, this is a guard that needs to be rostered in over 80% of Fantrax leagues. His scoring ability is underrated and can help your team in the scoring category.

Eric Gordon, G – Phoenix Suns (66% rostered)

Waiver wire adds favorite add. Eric Gordon has not been good. He has been GREAT. Gordon has done well filling in for Bradley Beal and Devin Booker. With Booker back, Gordon still has produced great numbers. To begin with, Gordon has had back-to-back games of 20 or more points. Also, Gordon has had 20 or more points in three of his past five games. All in all, Gordon has averaged 27.95 ppg in his last five games. This is starter production and at 66% rostership, he is the best add this week.
