Week 11 Survivor Pool Picks: Fields of Dreams

Welcome back to another round of survivor pool picks and let me tell you, Week 11 has some interesting matchups. Justin Fields has been on fire as of late and the Bears look like a new team. The Commanders knocked off the Eagles last week and the Rams look like their season is over.

I usually don’t like taking the road teams, but this week I have all road teams for my three picks. I left the Bills and Browns game out of my picks this week and you should too. It is reported snowfall could reach up to six feet. If that stays true, this will be a low-scoring game based on the run game. Too tough of a game to call for me.

As a recap, I already used up my picks on the Ravens, Rams, Falcons, Eagles, Vikings, Buccaneers, Packers, Dolphins and Chiefs. However, since the season is halfway through, I will add some honorable mentions with teams I’ve picked earlier on in the season.

Now, it’s time for me to go three for three on my survivor picks for Week 11.

Let’s get into it. All lines are taken from ESPN

Week 11 Survivor Pool Picks

Chicago Bears @ Atlanta Falcons (-3)

Pick: Chicago Bears

As mentioned above, Fields is on his game right now. But in this stretch, the Bears are only 1-3. However, all those losses, except for the Dallas game, were determined by three points or less. The Falcons are at home and can put points on the board. But, I think this is the week Fields explodes and finishes the game.

The Falcons’ defense is one of the worst defenses in the league in terms of points given up. They are giving up 25 points a game. The Bears are due for a win this week. It will be a shootout, but the Falcons’ defense could be out with A.J. Terrell for another week. Which will help in the run game for Fields.

Washington Commanders (-3) @ Houston Texans

Pick: Washington Commanders

The Commanders did knock off the Eagles last week, ending their perfect season start. It was the defense who showed up. Taylor Heinicke had an underwhelming game but still got the win. If the defense can play like they did last week, this week will be a breeze.

The Texans are only averaging 16.6 points a game, which is in the bottom five. They are also at the bottom in total yards per game. The Commanders defense is getting better with Chase Young possibly coming back this week. I think the Texans are on the verge of tanking for the number one pick and don’t see them winning at home. They might come out to play against the Browns, but I don’t see them this week.

Cincinnati Bengals (-4) @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are still missing Ja’Marr Chase, but even with him out I don’t see them losing to the Steelers. The Steelers’ defense is banged up with Devin Bush and Minkah Fitzpatrick both questionable for Sunday.

The Bengals are coming off a bye, but before that, they dominated the Panthers. Joe Mixon had five total touchdowns and the defense shut down the Panthers. The Bengals got off to a slow start, but they are back and I expect them to win this division.

My Pick: Chicago Bears

Even though the Bears are on a three-game losing streak, I still have them as my pick of the week. Fields is balling out and is coming so close to winning these games. They have one of the worst defenses in the league this week and I expect Fields to run all over them.

Also going forward the Bears have the Packers, Eagles, Bills, Lions and Vikings. The Lions could be the only win they have in that stretch. So, this Falcons game is their best matchup going forward and I am certain they won’t disappoint.

Honorable Picks: Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints.
