NFL Team Needs: AFC North

I'll just go ahead and get this out of the way. I went to the University of Cincinnati, have friends and family in the area, and live about an hour north of the city. I've been in bars where fights break out whenever Pittsburgh comes to town. So, needless to say, the AFC North is a part of my life. The worst part, for me at least, is that the power dynamic appears to be shifting. The Steelers still remain the powerhouse of the division, but Sashi Brown's genius has put the Browns back on the map. Cincinnati still needs help…

NFL Team Needs: AFC East

With the offseason in full swing, fantasy owners have already shifted their eyes to the fall. Draft season is fully underway, and speculation is continually mounting. Free agent training videos and prospect highlight reels are everywhere on social media. Therefore, it's important to take a step back and look at what each NFL team really needs for next year. This series will take a look at each team by division and highlight an area of need along with a way to fulfill it. Owners can use the analysis here as a preview of what…

Fantasy Football: Wild Card Weekend Matchups – Sunday

Welcome to the second half of my Wild Card Weekend preview column. We touched on the Saturday matchups earlier. This edition will focus on the Sunday matchups. BUFFALO BILLS AT JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS Sunday’s first game will see the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Buffalo Bills. Neither team has made the playoffs in a decade. The Bills finished the year at 9-7 in a weak AFC, and their record was bolstered by sweeping four games against the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. Particularly with star running back LeSean McCoy’s…

Fantasy Football: Week 7 Quarterback Matchup Report

Are Aaron Rodgers owners done mourning his season-ending injury yet? No, probably not. Week 6 was a rough one at the top. Rodgers broke his right collarbone, ending his season, and both Tom Brady and Drew Brees looked like mortals despite each having a plus matchup. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there, WITH A NEW COLLARBONE! Sorry Aaron, didn’t work. Stepping in under center in Green Bay is the incredibly uninspiring Brett Hundley. No thanks. We only have two QBs on a bye this week but one of them happens to be the…

Fantasy Football: Week 3 Quarterback Matchup Report

After a wacky first week of football, Week 2 seemed to be a little closer to what we expected. Tom Brady dominated the Saints to the tune of 447 yards and three touchdowns while things continue to look really bad for every New York team. There are some interesting matchups to look forward to in Week 3, including a trio of matchups between top-10 fantasy QBs. It certainly should be an exciting week of football, so let's dive right into it. Favorable Matchups Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles vs New York GiantsThrough…
