Top 75 Starting Pitchers for NL-Only Leagues (Updated!)

Okay, I'm feeling better. My AL-Only Starting Pitcher Rankings had me a bit down. Yeah, the top six or seven are nice, but it thins out real quick and there's not a lot of intrigue in the later rounds, except for a couple of top prospects returning from Tommy John. While the National League can't quite match the top tier of the American League, I think there's more depth and it's also home to some of my favorite starting pitching sleepers for 2019. Let's dig into my NL-Only Starting Pitcher Rankings so you can see what I…

2019 Fantasy Baseball: NL-Only Outfield Rankings & Projections (Updated!)

I've been working my way around the diamond with rankings for both NL-Only Leagues and AL-Only Leagues. So far I've gone 25 deep at every position. That pretty much covers all the draftables players in a typical 11 or 12-team league. Moving to 75 deep for my NL-Only Outfield Rankings makes me realize how relatively cut and dried the infield positions were.Sure there are players others may disagreee on and there's no doubt you'll see some changes along the way this draft season. But, man, these outfield rankings have a…

2019 Fantasy Baseball: NL-Only Shortstop Rankings with Tiers & Projections (Updated!)

I touched on it in my AL-Only Shortstop Rankings, but shortstop might just be the deepest position in fantasy baseball in 2019. It may not have as many big power bats as the outfield or corner infield, but the usable bats run deep at short in both leagues. As you'll see in my 2019 NL-Only Shortstop Rankings below, speed runs deep in the senior circuit. I count at least seven players who could steal 20-plus bags. Trevor Story is the big power hitting shortstop in the NL, but there are plenty of other options potentially in…

2019 Fantasy Baseball: NL-Only Third Base Rankings with Tiers and Projections

I knew third base was deep. I didn't really realize just how deep until I compiled my NL-Only Third Base Rankings. We're talking quality mixed-league worthy bats all the way down to No. 16 or so, with plenty of upside below that. Not too long ago, this would have been a solid pool for mixed leagues. If we rationalize real hard, this makes up for the sorry state of the catcher position in fantasy baseball. If you're a mono-league type like myself, please check out the rest of my NL-Only Rankings, or if you do the Junior…

2019 Fantasy Baseball: NL-Only Second Base Rankings with Tiers and Projections (Updated!)

Welcome to the deep end. As fantasy baseball has adapted to be more attractive to the masses a huge percentage of the content devoted to it is geared toward mixed leagues. Yet there's still a significant portion of fantasy baseball enthusiasts who still play it the way it was originally created. Those are the people I'm working for this entire fantasy season. I'll still do content that addresses all formats, but the emphasis of everything I do this season will be on deep leagues. I've already covered NL-Only rankings for…
