Yeah, the top six or seven are nice, but it thins out real quick and there's not a lot of intrigue in the later rounds, except for a couple of top prospects returning from Tommy John. I've been working my way around the diamond with rankings for both NL-Only Leagues and AL-Only Leagues. So far I've gone 25 deep at every position. That pretty much covers all the draftables players in a typical 11 or 12-team league. It may not have as many big power bats as the outfield or corner infield, but the usable bats run deep at short in both leagues. I knew third base was deep. I didn't really realize just how deep until I compiled my NL-Only Third Base Rankings. We're talking quality mixed-league worthy bats all the way down to No. 16 or so, with plenty of upside below that. Not too long ago, this would have been a solid pool for mixed leagues.
