We’ve reached Week 12, which means no more bye weeks. Everyone rejoice! You no longer have to start a mediocre QB since your starter has the week off. We've got full 16-game slates from now until January. Last week, we had two surprise top-10 scoring QBs in Blaine Gabbert and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Last week felt like the weirdest fantasy weeks for quarterbacks yet. Only six QBs eclipsed 300 passing yards, but two of them were Jay Cutler and Jacoby Brissett. Yes, I said Cutler and Brissett. Furthermore, Tyrod Taylor was the second highest scoring QB of the week behind only Jared Goff. With one major exception, Week 5 was an all-around solid week for the quarterback position in fantasy.
