Fantasy Football: Week 14 Quarterback Matchup Report

Week 13 was quite interesting in the QB world. The Giants benched Eli Manning for Geno Smith, Jimmy Garoppolo got his first start of the season, and Tom Savage threw for 365 yards. Weird week, huh? Ready for the weirdest stat of them all? There were 34 QBs to take the field in Week 13, and Tom Brady outscored only six of them. Not throwing for any touchdowns might have had something to do with that. He still outscored Matt Ryan, but that’s not too hard to do these days. For most fantasy leagues, the playoffs start this…

Fantasy Football: Week 12 Quarterback Matchup Report

We’ve reached Week 12, which means no more bye weeks. Everyone rejoice! You no longer have to start a mediocre QB since your starter has the week off. We've got full 16-game slates from now until January. Last week, we had two surprise top-10 scoring QBs in Blaine Gabbert and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Each of them threw for over 250 with three and two passing touchdowns, respectively. Fitz-Magic is still starting in place of Jameis Winston, who hasn’t played since Week 9 with a shoulder injury. Buccaneers coach Dirk Koetter has…

Fantasy Football: Week 10 Quarterback Matchup Report

Last week felt like the weirdest fantasy weeks for quarterbacks yet. Only six QBs eclipsed 300 passing yards, but two of them were Jay Cutler and Jacoby Brissett. Yes, I said Cutler and Brissett. Furthermore, Tyrod Taylor was the second highest scoring QB of the week behind only Jared Goff. Tom Brady was on a bye, Deshaun Watson was lost for the season, and Jimmy Garoppolo was traded to the 49ers. Just a weird week. This week, we have only four QBs on byes, but three of them are QB1 options, including the probable MVP…

Fantasy Football: Week 6 Quarterback Matchup Report

With one major exception, Week 5 was an all-around solid week for the quarterback position in fantasy. A total of nine QBs threw for over 300 yards, which is the second most this season behind 10 in Week 3. One of those nine players was Ben Roethlisberger. Not surprising, right? Well, he paired five interceptions with his 300-yard effort. Oh yeah, no touchdowns, either. Big Ben just hasn’t looked the same this season and is definitely not worth starting in single-QB leagues anymore. On the other end of the spectrum last…

The Monday Morning Sleeper – ArDarius Stewart

Welcome to this week's edition of the Monday Morning Sleeper. Last week I compiled a short list of potential deep sleepers for the upcoming NFL fantasy season that may help you during your upcoming campaign. You can check out last week's article here. This week I will be profiling ArDarius Stewart, a New York Jets wide receiver, who, due to an injury, may see his role expand this season. A Fantasy Football Sleeper is a player that is in a position to play beyond their rankings or expectations, is a relative unknown, and…
