🔥🔥🔥 Gameweek 14 Player Rankings: Hot List 🔥🔥🔥

These are Fantasy EPL Draft players that have risen in our rankings!  These are potential free agents on good form or established players that you should be looking to trade-in.  Keep an eye on these players, and bring them into your Fantrax squad if you can!

Caglar Söyüncü

Position:  Defender

Team:  Leicester

Ownership:  91%

Average Score Last 5 Games:  13.5 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures:  EVE (H), WAT (H), avl (A), NOR (H), mci (A)

What’s Changed?:  Ok, we could pick out any of the Foxes defenders, in particular Evans who is only 74% owned.  However Evans picked up an injury in Gameweek 13 which could see him ruled out for a while, so he misses out on this weeks hot list for teammate Söyüncü.  With four clean sheets on the bounce the Leicester defence is an absolute must have for any Draft EPL side; and have you seen the next four fixtures!?  Higher profile names Chilwell and Pereira are unlikely to be available for trades, so we would try and tempt a manager in for a trade for Söyüncü.  You may have to offer up a fair bit, but it should be worth it based on his statistics so far this season.  He’s a sure fire DEF1 for the rest of the season!  Failing Soyuncu, then it is well worth taking a look Morgan (3% ownership) who will replace Evans; a bold move, but it could seriously pay off!

Onel Hernandez

Position:  Midfielder

Team:  Norwich

Ownership:  15%

Average Score Last 5 Games:  9.6 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures:  ARS (H), sou (A), SHU (H), lei (A), WOL (H)

What’s Changed?:  Hernandez has been making up for lost time since returning from an injury, which has ruled him out of seven Gameweek’s this season.  The Cuban born winger has been in great Fantrax form over the past five Gameweek’s averaging 9.6 points per game, despite only picking up one attacking return (a consolation goal against Manchester United).  The Argos-loving winger bagged an impressive 17 points against Everton in Gameweek 13!

Hernandez offers pace and good old fashioned wing-play to a Norwich midfield bursting with players desperate to occupy the middle of the park.  Because of this attribute, we expect Hernandez to be ever-present for the remainder of the season for the Canaries, making him the ideal midfielder to stash away in your squad and stream into the side when fixtures are favourable.  We ranked Hernandez at 101st in our ROS Player Rankings prior to Gameweek 13!

Adama Traore

Position:  Forward

Team:  Wolves

Ownership:  80%

Average Score Last 5 Games:  12.5 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures:  SHU (H), WHU (H), bha (A), TOT (H), nor (A)

What’s Changed?:  We love this guy, although possibly not as much as the chaps on the @FPLkickaround podcast.  Traore has been in sublime form since Gameweek 3 when he picked up his first assist of the season and a huge 20 point haul.  Another assist came in Gameweek 13 which takes Traore’s attacking returns to two goals and three assists!  Even when Traore isn’t finding the net or assisting his teammates he is picking up ghost points; giving him really high market value at the moment.  I’m tempted to go out on a limb here, and depending on how bad Aguero’s injury is; I’d be tempted to take Traore for Aguero in a trade deal!

Gameweek 14 Player Rankings: More Hot Players!

Fantasy EPL Defenders

  • Trent Alexander-Arnold (100%, Liverpool) – Just incredible this season.  A Top 5 overall player
  • Ricardo Pereira (100%, Leicester) – An elite defender this season, consistently scores well. Chilwell and Soyuncu are also great options
  • Lucas Digne (100%, Everton) – 54.5 points gained in the last three games, without any clean sheets.  Getting back to his best!
  • Enda Stevens / Jack O’Connell (82%/78%, Sheffield United) – The Blades are terrific at the back, and these two Chaps are the pick of their defenders.  Basham is also a great pick-up
  • Jetro Willems (66%, Newcastle) – The left wing-back continues to perform well, and doesn’t need clean sheets
  • Kurt Zouma (49%, Chelsea) – Back to his best, scoring well and not clean sheet dependent
  • Phil Bardsley / Charlie Taylor (9%/8%, Burnley) – Dyche has switched his full backs around to great effect. These two chaps look set to stay in the side for the foreseeable future

Fantasy EPL Midfielders

  • James Maddison (100%, Leicester) – Making this very good Leicester side tick
  • Youri Tielemans (100%, Leicester) – Not exactly under the radar, but not as fashionable as Maddison.  Arguably better though
  • Christian Pulisic (99%, Chelsea) – Now established in Chelsea’s best XI
  • Dele Alli (98%, Tottenham) – He’s back in the side, scoring goals, and playing well!!
  • James Ward-Prowse (92%, Southampton) – Putting together some great performances recently
  • Michail Antonio (45%, West Ham) – 17.5 points from a 45 minute appearance in Gameweek 13. Antonio will establish himself in the side in the upcoming weeks!
  • John Fleck (45%, Sheffield United) – Fleck is so consistent. He’ll gain 8 or 9 points every week without fail, and has even added goals to his game in recent weeks!

Fantasy EPL Forwards

  • Jamie Vardy (100%, Leicester) – On fire with goals both personally and the whole team!  All aboard the Leicester train.
  • Tammy Abraham (100%, Chelsea) – Continues to perform… a FWD1 for the rest of the season
  • Sadio Mane (100%, Liverpool) – Outshining the more sought after Salah at the moment, he’s the Liverpool player to won
  • Raul Jimenez (100%, Wolves) – The Mexican continues to perform very well
  • Allan Saint-Maximin (55%, Newcastle) – Total livewire possessing electric pace!  A really useful 3rd or 4th choice forward!
  • David McGoldrick (12%, Sheffield United) – Done very well the last three games, could be a great little pick up in larger leagues!

❄️❄️❄️ Gameweek 14 Player Rankings: Cold List ❄️❄️❄️

These are Fantasy EPL players that have fallen in our rankings.  This may be due to poor form, they have been dropped from the best 11, they have suffered an injury, or received a suspension.  It’s time to consider dropping these players from your squads!

David Luiz

Position:  Defender

Team:  Arsenal

Ownership:  62%

Average Score Last 5 Games:  4.4 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures:  nor (A), BHA (H), whu (A), MCI (H), eve (A)

What’s Changed?:  Roll up all Arsenal defenders.  We’ve picked out Luiz but in reality, you could pick out Bellerin, Sokratis, or Chambers who’ve all been underperforming and scoring horrendously in Fantrax.  Luiz will occasionally pop up with a goal, but don’t let this fool you; in between the goals, nothing but disappointing Fantrax points hauls await you.

Recommendation:  We’d recommend ditching Luiz and any other Arsenal defender (other than Tierney).

Emi Buendia

Position:  Midfielder

Team:  Norwich City

Ownership:  94%

Average Score Last 5 Games:  8.1 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures:  ARS (H), sou (A), SHU (H), lei (A), WOL (H)

What’s Changed?:  Buendia is a complete magician on the pitch and very good Fantrax points scorer as his season points per game average of 9.92 would suggest.  However, Fantrax points don’t paint the full picture.  I am Buendia’s biggest fan, but it is undeniable his performances of late haven’t been great and at times his attitude can be, well; average.  Having lost his place in the starting XI for Gameweek 13, which the Canaries went on to pick up their first away win of the season, and first win in seven Gameweeks, we can’t see Buendia returning for a few games.

Recommendation:  Hold onto the Argentine playmaker, he will eventually work his way back in the side as we can’t see McClean keeping his place indefinitely.

Sergio Aguero

Position:  Forward

Team:  Manchester City

Ownership:  100%

Average Score Last 5 Games:  4 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures:  new (A), bur (A), MUN (H), ars (A), LEI (H)

What’s Changed?:  Another disappointing Gameweek for Aguero owners; how frustrating is this getting hey chaps?  There are multiple factors at play for Aguero owners: first, Aguero’s form is average with only one goal and one assist in seven games.  Secondly, with Manchester City nine points off leaders Liverpool and with the club having never won the Champions League; there is a growing concern Aguero will see less Premier League minutes in favor of keeping him fresh for the Champos!  Third and final point, Aguero limped off injured after 75 minutes in Gameweek 13.

Recommendation: Work your absolute socks off for a trade deal immediately chaps.  Naturally, the deal needs to be well thought through, and we advise to proceed with caution.  Get in touch with us @TheFFChaps with your trade deals if you want impartial advice!

Gameweek 14 Player Rankings: More Cold Players!

Fantasy EPL Defenders

  • Michael Keane (77%, Everton) – Holgate is preferred at the moment, but he could get back into the side after the Gameweek 13 defeat to Norwich
  • Toby Alderweireld (72%, Tottenham) – Drop him.  Scoring poorly and Tottenham have a leaky defense
  • Erik Pieters / Matthew Lowton (72%/49%, Burnley) – Both dropped for Gameweek 12 and 13, and Burnley kept clean sheets in both games.  Looks like Bardsley and Taylor will be the full-backs for the time being
  • Jannik Vestergaard (41%, Southampton) – Needs to be dropped. Scoring poorly and Southampton concede a lot

Fantasy EPL Midfielders

  • Manuel Lanzini (91%, West Ham) – Injured for two months, but to be honest his stock had fallen away with West Ham’s form.
  • Dani Ceballos (67%, Arsenal) – Injured for around a month, and doesn’t actually score that well on Fantrax
  • Oleksandr Zinchenko (56%, Manchester City) – Time to drop him, Mendy is proving his fitness and Angelino is playing well.  Minutes will be limited
  • Roberto Pereyra (36%, Watford) – Scoring very poorly, and not well suited to Togga scoring. Drop him

Fantasy EPL Forwards

  • Callum Wilson (100%) – Scoring very poorly, but his trade value is too low to consider shipping him out though!
  • Teemu Pukki (98%, Norwich) – On a big goal drought, but scored decent ghost points in Gameweek 12.  His assist in Gameweek 13 will help raise his trade value
  • Nicolas Pepe (96%, Arsenal) – We warned you Chaps a couple of weeks ago about Pepe’s minutes potentially reducing… he didn’t even make it off the bench in Gameweek 11 and got 45 minutes from the bench in Gameweek 13
  • Wesley (75%, Aston Villa) – He plays every game, but is pretty goal dependent.  Try and trade him out if you can
  • Andriy Yarmolenko (68%, West Ham) – The Ukrainian doesn’t look like he cares at the moment – he’ll be benched now that Antonio is back on the scene!
  • Moise Kean (45%, Everton) Silva says Kean is staying but under Silva we don’t expect Kean to play much.  If Silva goes, his stock could rise!
