Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 13

Welcome to week 13 of the fantasy basketball season! We are getting close to the halfway mark of the NBA season and it’s time to make some changes if you’re on the outside looking in on a fantasy playoff spot. Let’s hop on over to the waiver wire and take advantage of the latest trends around the association. Here are few names who are ready to make a big impact to your fantasy rosters and improve your playoff chances!

Week 13 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire

Kevon Looney, C – Golden State Warriors (44% rostered)

Kevon Looney is going Looney Tunes in Golden State baby! Looney finished the week with the 5th most rebounds in the NBA making him a must-add player if you’re in need of some rebounds. Looney has posted double-digit rebounds in five straight games averaging a whopping 14 per game over that span. Those are amazing numbers that make him add-worthy right away. The veteran Center is still doing enough in other categories averaging 9.7 points, 2.7 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks over his last three games to provide solid value across the board. Add away and don’t look back!

Keegan Murray, SF/PF – Sacramento Kings (63% rostered)

It’s been an up-and-down season for the 4th-overall pick in this year’s draft but there’s too much potential to leave on the waiver wire. The rookie started off the year averaging 19 points and 5 rebounds a game. Solid stuff folks! Murray has now posted double-digit points in three of his past four games scoring 16 points twice! He’s also averaging 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 2.3 3PTM during that stretch. The Kings don’t have a lot of depth in their frontcourt so Murray will continue to get his minutes. When he receives over 30 minutes a game, he’s a great play. I like his chances to keep it going!

Jalen Williams, SG/SF – Oklahoma City Thunder (55% rostered)

Another rookie making noise in the NBA. The talented 21-year-old out of Santa Clara is starting to make a name for himself by racking up the points in OKC. Williams has been on a tear with double-digit points in nine of his past 10 games. Williams is averaging a cool 17.2 points to go along with five rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.8 steals in five of his past seven games. Williams just started his 14th game in a row and has improved his numbers every month this season. Watch out baby! Jalen is going to bring the Thunder as the season continues. Don’t sleep on Williams any longer!

Victor Oladipo, SG/SF – Miami Heat (52% rostered)

Victor Oladipo is turning back the clocks and cranking up the Heat in Miami! Oladipo flashed his All-Star talent with two 20-point games in four of his past five games. During that stretch, the veteran is averaging 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.8 3PTM. Not too shabby! The key is Dipo was putting these performances together with Jimmy Butler in the lineup, so it looks like he’s carved out a solid role for himself in Miami. He’s posted at least five rebounds and four assists in three of his past five games. I’m adding!

Patrick Williams, PF – Chicago Bulls (31% rostered)

Another fourth-overall pick making waves! Patrick Williams, taken fourth in the 2020 draft, is finally making some noise in Chicago. Williams had two amazing games last week posting 20 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 3PTM and has scored double-digit points in three of his past four games. It was Williams’ first 20-point game of the season and just the 5th of his career. The rebounds, steals and three-point contributions make the 3rd-year pro a solid add off the waiver wire. If he continues to receive 30 minutes a night he’ll make a solid addition to your fantasy basketball lineup!
