Fantasy Baseball Weekend Pitching Streamers: 6/24-6/26

Need some extra pitching this weekend? Look no further than the weekend pitching streamers! Each weekend there are lower-rostered pitchers who could help your squad finish the week strong. I will give you players that are rostered in less than 50% of CBS leagues that have advantageous matchups. Not all of these guys are desirable options though, so I will also include a streamer confidence rating between 1-10. Good luck and happy weekend streaming!

Top Weekend Pitching Streamers:

Friday:

Cole Irvin @ Kansas City Royals (44% Rostered)

Confidence Rating: 6

Whenever you have the Royals or Tigers on your schedule, you will automatically be considered a streaming option. Irvin gets the Royals again, this time in Kansas City. He is the best available pitching streamer for Friday, but like a lot of these options, the matchup is more enticing than the pitcher. The Royals actually strike out the least against LHP as a team, but their offensive numbers still rank in the bottom third of the league. You probably won’t get many strikeouts from Irvin, who only has a 16.5% strikeout rate so far this year anyway, but the rest of his numbers have a chance to be good against a putrid Kansas City offense.

Dylan Bundy vs. Colorado Rockies (26% Rostered)

Confidence Rating: 5

Bundy was a streamer pick for me last week, and he was able to throw a gem against the Diamondbacks. He pitched 8 innings and allowed an earned run with 7 strikeouts. I’m not saying he will do that again, but he has another good matchup against the Rockies at Target Field. His strikeout rate (18.8%) is less than ideal, but it’s his walk rate I like, sitting at 4.3%. If he can limit the contact, which has been hit or miss for Bundy this season, he could give you a quality start with solid ratios across the board.

Saturday:

J.T. Brubaker @ Tampa Bay Rays (12% Rostered)

Confidence Rating: 3

Saturday is not an ideal day for streaming, but Brubaker is the pick here. He has been alright over his last few starts and he usually racks up decent strikeout numbers. Speaking of strikeouts, the Rays strike out the fourth most against RHP at 25.1%. The Rays are also ranked 28th in wOBA and 26th in OPS as a team against RHP this season. Brubaker is only 12% rostered for a reason, but he has an easier matchup against Tampa Bay that you can take advantage of if you need a pitching streamer for Saturday.

Zach Davies vs. Detroit Tigers (31% Rostered)

Confidence Rating: 4

Another matchup-based option, Davies gets the worst scoring team in the league in this matchup. The Tigers have been a little better as of late, but I’m still looking to stream against them wherever I can. Davies limits hard contact, which allows him to pitch deep into games. Over his past five starts, Davies has gone at least 6 innings four times, and he has a good chance to do the same against a bad Detroit team. The strikeouts have also been up for Davies recently, giving him a good chance to put up solid numbers across the board vs. the Tigers.

Sunday:

Brady Singer vs. Oakland Athletics (42% Rostered)

Confidence Rating: 6

Singer faced the A’s in his last start and didn’t pitch very well. I’m giving him another chance against the A’s, this time at home. He has made it through at least 5 innings pitched in every start this season and he should continue that trend on Sunday. You don’t need me to tell you how bad the A’s lineup has been so far, so I’m hoping Singer can pitch better against them this time around. Without any better pitching streamers for Sunday, Singer is the best choice if you need the extra help.
