Gameweek 37 Waiver Wire Targets

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 37 Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% ownership or below on Fantrax.  These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period!

Giovani Lo Celso

Position: Midfielder

Team: Tottenham

Ownership: 36%

Next Fixture: Aston Villa (Home)

Prospects: Lo Celso has been an ever-present under new manager Mason, and should continue in the XI for the next two games. Lo Celso has a somewhat high ceiling, and a floor similar to that of a MID3. The Spurs midfielder takes his fair share of corners as well which only helps his upside. Aston Villa has been very poor defensively recently, and this could be a fixture for Lo Celso to get an attacking return. For the final two games of the season, I would consider Lo Celso a low-end MID2.

Verdict: I would use a higher-end waiver claim or 50-70% of my remaining FAAB on Lo Celso.

Morgan Gibbs-White

Position: Midfielder

Team: Wolves

Ownership: 2%

Next Fixture: Everton (Away)

Prospects: All those who have played in a league with me, will know that Gibbs-White is a personal favorite of mine. I do believe he is one for the future and should get the final two starts of the season. Gibbs-White managed 11 ghost points in the loss to Spurs and could see a similar output in the fixture against Everton. Nuno has seemingly given up on this season and will give the youngsters a chance to stake a claim for a starting spot in next season’s XI. Personally, I would prefer Gibbs-White to Vitinha, but both are solid MID4s this upcoming gameweek.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or about 40% of my remaining FAAB on Gibbs-White.

Rob Holding

Position: Defender

Team: Arsenal

Ownership: 26%

Next Fixture: Crystal Palace (Away)

Prospects: Holding was part of the Arsenal defense that kept a clean sheet against Chelsea. He should see another start, with the potential for more ghost points against an in-form Benteke. Arsenal has a good chance at another clean sheet here giving Holding DEF1 upside for this gameweek. Streaming defenders have been tough at this end of the season with some teams already on the beach, but this should be a game where Arsenal looks to get all three points.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver claim or about 20-30% of my remaining FAAB on Holding.

Joelinton

Position: Forward

Team: Newcastle United

Ownership: 32%

Next Fixture: Sheffield United (Home)

Prospects: The forward pool in deeper leagues is terrible, but Joelinton could have good value this upcoming gameweek. On the scoresheet against Manchester City should give him some confidence to get another return against a Sheffield United team that is also on a high. Newcastle has been scoring goals for fun in recent weeks, and Steve Bruce will be hoping to see more of the same in the final two games. This gameweek I would consider Joelinton a high-end FWD2.

Verdict: I would use a higher-end waiver claim or about 40-50% of my FAAB on Joelinton.
