Gameweek 27 Waiver Wire Targets

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 27 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.  These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period! Plus, this week we bring you a bargain bin edition, meaning that most of these players should be free or cost you very minimal bids to secure off of waivers.

The following teams have double gameweeks in GW27:

Burnley: cry, LEI

Connor Roberts

Position: Defender

Team: Burnley

Rostered: 9%

Next Fixture: Crytal Palace (Away), Leicester (Home)

Prospects: Roberts has firmly supplanted Lowton in the starting XI for Burnley and while usually, Burnley players are not very exciting, Roberts actually popped up with an assist and a clean sheet for a decent 14.5 score against Brighton and he will continue to provide very good double gameweek value at a low entry point. With a manageable double coming up, and 3 more upcoming doubles in the next 10 games, he could be a hold for the remainder of the season.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 3-5% of my remaining FAB on Roberts.

Milot Rashica

Position: Midfielder

Team: Norwich

Rostered: 32%

Next Fixture: -Southampton (Away)

Prospects: The Kosovar midfielder has been the driving force behind Smith’s Norwich revolution by providing forward momentum as well as contributing in goals and assists. Kudos to those who played him against Liverpool, they got 18 points in return, but most of us can find him on waivers. They have Leeds, Brentford, Brighton, Burnley, Man U and Newcastle to come in a relatively easy run to finish out the season and Rashica will be pivotal for any survival hopes they are harbouring.

VerdictRashica should cost you 5-8% of your FAB.

Leon Bailey

Position: Forward

Team: Aston Villa

Ownership: 39%

Next Fixture: Brighton (Away)

Prospects:  Villa have been vey disappointing lately. The excitement of Digne’s and Coutinho’s arrival is well and truly in the rearview mirror. Villa have only won one of their last five games and are slipping down the table. Bailey has been getting back to match fitness with sub appearances in the last 2 games and it is very likely that he will come into the starting XI soon. On his day, he is a FWD2 with limitless upside. Try and get him before he makes a case for a first team spot for everyone to see. Oh and Villa have a double coming up in GW28 and definitely have a fixture in GW30 (only 5 other teams do)

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 5% of my remaining FAB on Bailey.
