Gameweek 16 Waiver Wire Targets

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 16 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.  These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period!

Diogo Dalot

Position: Defender

Team: Manchester United

Rostered: 18%

Next Fixture: Norwich (Away)

Prospects: Much has been said about Rangnick’s tactics, his potential setup, and players used. Dalot, although mentioned in passing has not been the main player of focus, yet he has gone about his business with surprising efficiency in the 2 games he has started. 7.75 with 2 goals conceded and 15 are great scores and he is definitely worth considering as a shoe-in for this amazing United schedule ahead. That said, I am only suggesting a low-end waiver claim, because I do think that AWB will be given opportunities in this upcoming run as well, so proceed with caution.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3% of my remaining FAB on Dalot.

Fred

Position: Midfielder

Team: Manchester United

Ownership: 28%

Next Fixture: Norwich (Away)

Prospects: From an unsung hero to a reformed villain. Fred has been the butt of many jokes among United fans and opposition fans alike. Death, taxes, and McFred is a Ryan Barnes original quote and it isn’t meant as a compliment. 3 games after the Ole era and Fred looks like the best United asset for floor and for ceiling purposes. obvious we are not expecting an attacking return from him every week, but he will be more similar to early season Doucure than his former self.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or about 3-8% of my remaining FAB on Fred.

Cucho Hernandez

Position: Forward

Team: Watford

Ownership: 7%

Next Fixture: Brentford (Away)

Prospects: Cucho made the most of his halftime sub appearance against City in a statement performance that unfortunately didn’t result in a win for his team. He has been taking set-pieces when on the pitch and therefore has a great floor for points. If only he could nail down the starting spot. Start him as your FWD3 against almost anyone.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or about 3-5% of my remaining FAB on Hernandez.
